Profile
The Shanghai Children’s Health Fair (CHWF) will be held concurrently with the globally leading China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair. At the event, professionals in children’s education and children’s content will also be on-site, offering cross‑industry collaboration opportunities for those working in child health. This edition of the fair will attract 200 high‑quality service providers and enterprises, with exhibits focusing on three key sectors: pediatric healthcare, healthy children’s food, and children’s health products. Concurrently, numerous specialized forums and events will take place, bringing together experts to discuss cutting‑edge knowledge on children’s physical and mental well‑being.
Adhering to the principle that child health services should prioritize prevention while integrating treatment and care, the fair aims to shift the focus from disease management to health promotion, build an integrated child health service system, advance high‑quality development in the field, and enhance the quality of child health care. By hosting the Shanghai Children’s Health Fair (CHWF), the event not only raises public awareness about child health, encouraging parents and educators to pay closer attention to children’s psychological and emotional well‑being, but also guides them in fostering healthy lifestyle habits, thereby helping to prevent a range of health issues—aligning with societal needs and serving as a vital response to public concerns.
Children are the future of our nation, and their healthy growth is of paramount importance. As living standards improve, child health has increasingly become a central concern and a key issue in social development. Modern challenges—including food safety, changing lifestyles, and academic pressures—can all adversely affect children’s health. According to multiple authoritative reports, overweight, obesity, dietary imbalances, myopia, and psychological issues among Chinese children are alarmingly prevalent, underscoring the urgent need to address and improve children’s physical and mental well‑being.
Given its profound implications for national development and family happiness, in recent years governments at all levels in China have steadily increased support for the child health sector and related industries. There is no doubt that the next decade will be the “golden age” of rapid and robust growth for China’s children’s health market. A series of favorable policies have been introduced to bolster this burgeoning industry, and with the swift expansion of the broader health sector, the child health market holds immense potential.
The Shanghai Children’s Health Fair (CHWF) provides participating organizations and businesses with a platform for product retail, new‑product launches, brand promotion, channel expansion, and cross‑industry partnerships. The exhibition will draw large numbers of parent–child families, childcare professionals, and parenting influencers to experience and learn, while actively recruiting retailers, e‑commerce players, distributors, and other stakeholders in the children’s health space to observe and select products.
Shanghai Children’s Health Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
The Exhibition Value of the Shanghai Children’s Health Fair (CHWF)
- China’s first vertical industry platform dedicated to children’s health. Co-organized by BolognaFiere and Donghao Lansheng Exhibition Group, the fair is held concurrently with the Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) at the same venue, creating a dual‑core synergy between “health” and “reading.” Leveraging the tens of thousands of child‑focused professionals that CCBF attracts each year, it generates unique cross‑industry collaboration opportunities for children’s health practitioners, fostering a new ecosystem in the sector that evolves from singular offerings to diversified solutions, and from traditional approaches to smart, technology‑driven innovations.
- Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, with three core segments precisely showcased. Exhibits are centered on three key areas: pediatric healthcare—including rehabilitation facilities, vision and oral care, and mental health; children’s health foods—such as healthy snacks, infant complementary foods, and nutritional supplements; and children’s health products—ranging from hygiene and personal care items to sports equipment and safety gear. From medical services to everyday care, from nutrition to intelligent companionship, the fair presents a complete panorama of innovative advancements and service ecosystems across all facets of children’s health.
- Bringing together professional buyers and family audiences to create a premier hub for business matchmaking. The event actively recruits retailers, e‑commerce players, and distributors of children’s health products to source offerings on-site, while offering 101 tailored business‑matching sessions to facilitate in‑depth discussions between supply and demand. At the same time, the fair draws large numbers of families, parenting professionals, and influential parent‑child influencers, delivering dual value: expanding B2B distribution channels and enhancing brand visibility among end consumers.
- A multifaceted integration of exhibition, conference, competition, and showcase events, fostering deep collaboration across industry, academia, research, and application. For the first time, the fair hosts an Innovation Summit spanning the entire children’s health value chain, bringing together industry leaders such as JD Health and Shanghai Film Studio to engage in in‑depth dialogues on critical topics including trends in children’s nutrition consumption, IP‑driven innovation, and smart technologies. Throughout the event, a series of diverse activities—including an AI‑powered parent‑child sports carnival, 14 educational lectures on children’s health, a psychological parent‑child marketplace, and an energizing breakfast charging station—seamlessly blend industry discourse with family‑oriented experiences, providing enterprises with a high‑end think tank to navigate policy directions and discern market trends.
