• The China (Shanghai) International Technology Import & Export Fair (CSITF, also known as the Shanghai Fair) is a national‑level, international technology trade exhibition approved by the State Council and hosted by the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). • The core value of participation lies in the fair’s endorsement as a national‑level platform and its unique channel advantages for precisely linking resources across the entire technology trade value chain. At the eleventh edition in 2025, the exhibition will span 35,000 square meters, bringing together nearly 1,000 enterprises from close to 20 countries and regions worldwide, as well as from nearly 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities within China, attracting tens of thousands of professional visitors. Exhibitors cover four major technical sectors—commercial cryptography and digital manufacturing, green energy and storage/transportation, intelligent marine engineering and equipment, and consumer and commercial technologies—alongside dedicated service areas for technology transactions. • The fair has established a one‑stop service platform that encompasses the entire technology‑trade ecosystem. As a core component of the Shanghai Fair, the Technology Transfer Zone focuses on the “four ends”—supply, demand, services, and platforms—systematically and scenario‑basedly supporting the transfer and commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. • Keeping pace with three major industry trends—digital transformation, green and low‑carbon development, and intelligent integration—the fair has forged a high‑ground for deep industry‑university‑research‑application collaboration. For the first time in 2025, the fair will feature dedicated zones for intelligent marine engineering and equipment, as well as for consumer and commercial technologies, and will debut seven globally or nationally pioneering technologies, including a quantum‑encrypted private network. Concurrently, the fair hosts high‑level forums, themed days, and technology‑transaction matchmaking services, addressing critical issues such as corporate overseas expansion, technology trade, and intellectual property protection. Tongyu Communications will showcase at the 2025 fair an integrated space‑air‑ground communication solution, encompassing both low‑orbit and geostationary satellite technologies along with self‑developed high‑performance ground terminals, suitable for diverse applications including emergency communications, offshore operations, aviation connectivity, and low‑altitude drone logistics.
• Benefiting from Shanghai’s strategic position as a global center for scientific and technological innovation, the fair provides enterprises with a strategic pathway to expand into domestic and international markets. The Shanghai Fair has established a host‑country (city) mechanism: in 2025, Glasgow, UK, and Shenzhen, China, will serve as the overseas and domestic host cities, respectively, facilitating 14 cooperative projects between Chinese and British enterprises. The fair has previously organized overseas exhibitions in the Czech Republic, Greece, Latvia, and Turkey. Preparations for the 2026 edition are already underway, with the digital intelligence technology zone expanding to over 3,800 square meters.
