Today, AI is rapidly being integrated into core business areas such as wealth management, risk control, and intelligent marketing, continuously boosting operational efficiency. As a leading global financial center, Hong Kong has been actively promoting the innovative convergence of AI and other frontier technologies with the financial sector.

Eddie Yue, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, stated that the “Fintech 2030” initiative aims to transform Hong Kong into a robust, resilient, and forward-looking international fintech hub, reshaping the future of finance, opening new chapters, and fostering a more sustainable and inclusive fintech ecosystem.

In terms of concrete business expansion, Tencent Cloud has made substantial progress. Hu Liming revealed, “For instance, in Southeast Asia, financial institutions such as Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, and Allo Bank are leveraging our cloud products—including the TDSQL database, cloud infrastructure, and eKYC solutions.” Currently, Tencent Cloud maintains double-digit annual growth in overseas markets, securing key customer wins across Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond.
