Zhejiang Hangzhou International Exhibition on Research and Medical Instrumentation Technology (IAIE CHINA) was founded in 2004 and is organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission. Since its inception, the exhibition has consistently adhered to the guiding principle of “drawing on diverse strengths and expanding exchanges,” leveraging its platform to serve both Zhejiang and the global community. It has tirelessly contributed to fostering international exchanges and cooperation in medical science and technology, helping Zhejiang establish itself as a leading hub for life sciences and health innovation.

Zhejiang Hangzhou International Exhibition on Research and Medical Instrumentation Technology (IAIE CHINA), with the care and support of leaders at all levels and through the concerted efforts of all stakeholders, has firmly taken root in Zhejiang—a vibrant and opportunity-rich region—becoming a premier international event in the fields of medical technology and medical instrumentation. The exhibition plays a pivotal role in promoting collaboration between hospitals and enterprises, facilitating the exchange of medical technologies and information, and advancing partnerships among domestic and international medical product companies.

Over the course of past editions, our province has attracted international cutting-edge research and medical devices totaling more than RMB 10 billion. Through the exhibition’s platform, these advanced technologies have been introduced, assimilated, and further innovated, resulting in the continuous launch of medical device products that meet industry needs and boast superior technical performance. Meanwhile, a growing number of domestic medical device manufacturers with independent intellectual property rights have emerged, significantly boosting the development of Zhejiang’s medical device sector and providing strong impetus to the province’s scientific research and public health endeavors.

Exhibitors include renowned international brands such as GE from the United States, Philips from the Netherlands, Siemens from Germany, bioMérieux from France, Johnson & Johnson, and B. Braun, alongside an increasing presence of domestic medical device companies. Local Zhejiang firms like Shaoxing Mingfeng, Ningbo Xingaoyi, Ningbo Kangda Intercontinental, Hangzhou Meinova, Hangzhou Lichuang, and Tonglu Tiansong, as well as prominent national players such as Shenzhen Mindray and Shenzhen LanYun, have all showcased their offerings. This exhibition is currently the only domestic event in the medical device sector that integrates procurement processes with government purchasing.
