Zhejiang Hangzhou Primary Healthcare Exhibition

The 21st Zhejiang International Medical Equipment Exhibition and Innovation Technology Exchange (formerly the Zhejiang Primary Healthcare Equipment Exhibition) was successfully held from September 10 to 12, 2025, at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, this year’s event was themed “Openness, Innovation, Integration, and Shared Prosperity,” marking a major annual milestone in the primary healthcare sector.

In terms of scale, the exhibition covered nearly 40,000 square meters, bringing together over 650 exhibitors from both domestic and international markets and attracting more than 26,000 professional visitors.  The show featured a “Ten Categories + Themed Zones” format, with ten major categories encompassing endoscopy, radiology, operating room and sterilization supplies, laboratory diagnostics, respiratory and anesthesia monitoring, ultrasound, medical research and laboratory equipment, traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, dermatological and aesthetic treatments, as well as general-purpose medical devices and equipment.

This edition of the exhibition boasted numerous highlights, with the Innovation Zone and cutting-edge technologies serving as the central attractions. A dedicated “Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Innovation Products Exhibition” showcased TCM medicines and formulations, TCM medical devices, smart TCM solutions, pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, and broader health‑related products. Meanwhile, the “Future Classroom—Medical Education Simulation Theme Zone” highlighted simulation‑based educational tools and AI‑integrated learning solutions. Additionally, the “New‑Generation Productivity” and “Overseas Innovation Technologies” zones presented groundbreaking medical technologies and innovative equipment from both domestic and international sources.

Complementary events further enriched the program, establishing a high‑level platform for industry exchange. During the exhibition, a series of specialized activities were organized, including the TCM Scientific and Technological Achievements Express, an academic forum on leading TCM talents, the “Hundreds of Formulas” institutional formulation commercialization roadshow, the 7th Health and Wellness Technology Transfer Matchmaking Conference, the inaugural East China Four‑Province Resident Physician Standardized Training Young Mentor Teaching Skills Competition, and a symposium on surgical robot innovation, among others.

Featured exhibitors and innovative products drew significant attention. Huisheng Technology unveiled its “Huisheng Cloud—County‑Level Ultrasound Digital Intelligence Platform,” along with the “Digital Handheld Ultrasound System,” the “All‑in‑One Remote Handheld Ultrasound Device,” and the “AI‑Assisted Diagnostic System”—smart healthcare solutions designed to help county‑level medical consortia establish standardized, professional ultrasound diagnostic capabilities, bridging the gap between grassroots screening and higher‑level diagnosis. Xinyu Hong Medical introduced the XYH‑1000C dual‑energy X‑ray bone densitometer, leveraging high‑precision dual‑energy X‑ray technology as the gold standard for osteoporosis diagnosis, suitable for orthopedic hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physical examination facilities, and other healthcare institutions. Jinzhong, in collaboration with Liuliu Vision, showcased sports medicine devices and display panels, drawing numerous distributors and representatives from healthcare institutions nationwide to engage in discussions.

The professional visitor base was robust, with high‑quality buyer profiles. The exhibition attracted representatives from medical and health institutions across China, industry experts, distributors, and procurement decision‑makers. Onsite negotiations were lively, and the effectiveness of business matchmaking received widespread acclaim. Exhibiting companies generally reported that this year’s event featured highly qualified professional visitors with clear purchasing objectives, providing an efficient platform for introducing their products into the primary healthcare market.

The exhibition yielded tangible results and generated enthusiastic responses from the industry. Exhibiting companies noted that the Zhejiang Primary Healthcare Exhibition served as a vital gateway for medical device manufacturers to better understand grassroots market needs and expand into Zhejiang and the Yangtze River Delta region.
