China Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Fabrics and Accessories Expo – Spring Keqiao Textile ExpoProfile

The China Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Fabrics and Accessories Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Keqiao Textile Expo) is a specialized textile trade show approved by the State Council and receiving key support from the Ministry of Commerce. Established in 1999, it has been held twice annually since 2008, ranking alongside the Shanghai Fabric Fair and the Canton Fair Fabric Exhibition as one of China’s three most prominent fabric expos. In 2023, the Keqiao International Textile Expo attained UFI certification.

Over the years, the Keqiao International Textile Expo has remained committed to setting global textile trends, showcasing the allure of cutting-edge fashion technologies, driving industrial transformation and upgrading, and fostering a robust platform for supply‑demand trade. It actively facilitates effective business communication, information exchange, and the promotion of fashion innovations between suppliers and buyers.

Shaoxing, China—known as the starting point of the New Silk Road—is home to the country’s largest concentration of textile enterprises, the authoritative source of China’s premier textile index, and the world’s largest hub for textile trade. The Exhibition Value of the Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Accessories Expo

  • Asia’s Largest and a Globally Leading Specialized Event for Textile Accessories: Since its inception in 1999, the China Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Accessories Expo has been successfully held for more than twenty editions, making it one of the most influential and trade‑driven professional exhibitions in China’s textile industry. Co‑organized by authoritative bodies including the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, the Shaoxing Municipal People’s Government, and the Zhejiang Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the expo leverages Keqiao’s industrial advantage as “Asia’s largest light‑textile market,” earning widespread recognition within the industry as a global benchmark for textile accessories and a central platform integrating domestic and international trade.
  • A One‑Stop Procurement Platform Covering the Entire Industry Chain: The expo encompasses the full spectrum of the textile value chain, including various fabrics—cotton, linen, silk, wool, synthetic fibers, knitted fabrics, functional textiles—and auxiliary materials such as zippers, buttons, interlinings, trims, and ribbons, alongside home textile products, textile raw materials, dyeing and printing technologies, textile machinery, and design software. From fashionable women’s wear fabrics to high‑performance outdoor textiles, from premium custom‑made accessories to eco‑friendly dyeing and printing solutions, exhibitors can seamlessly connect with buyers across all stages—from product showcasing and brand exposure to commercial negotiations.
  • Precise Connections with Global Buyers and Domestic/International Trade Channels: The last edition attracted tens of thousands of professional buyers from over 100 countries and regions, including representatives from apparel brands, foreign trade companies, cross‑border e‑commerce sellers, designers, and fabric‑accessory distributors. Exhibitors had direct access to the Chinese procurement hubs of international brands such as ZARA, H&M, Uniqlo, Nike, and Adidas, as well as to purchasing decision‑makers from numerous domestic apparel brands and manufacturing enterprises, facilitating efficient order conversion and channel expansion.
  • The Locational Advantage of Keqiao as the “Global Capital of Light Textiles”: Shaoxing Keqiao is the core hub of China’s light‑textile industry, home to China Light Textile City—the world’s largest and most comprehensive distribution center for light‑textile products—with annual sales exceeding RMB 300 billion and exports reaching more than 190 countries and regions. The Keqiao area and its surroundings host tens of thousands of textile enterprises, forming a complete industrial chain that spans raw materials, weaving, dyeing, and finished garments. As the premier platform for global buyers to “enter the production site and source directly,” the Keqiao Textile Expo enables exhibitors to leverage Keqiao’s industrial agglomeration and robust trade networks to achieve dual customer acquisition through both exhibition showcases and sustained market presence.
  • Unique Value for Chinese Enterprises: A Strategic Engine for Source‑Level Showcasing and Global Order Acquisition: The Keqiao Textile Expo serves as a central platform for tens of thousands of textile enterprises in Keqiao and surrounding areas to present their latest products, connect with domestic and international buyers, and gain insights into market trends. During the event, the “Global Fabric Sourcing Matchmaking Conference” offers invaluable opportunities for face‑to‑face discussions with representatives from major international brands. Meanwhile, the expo draws a significant number of cross‑border e‑commerce buyers—such as Amazon, Temu, and SHEIN’s apparel category buyers—who come to select products, opening new online export channels for traditional textile enterprises.
  • Unique Value for International Buyers: A One‑Stop Source‑Sourcing Hub: For overseas buyers, the Keqiao Textile Expo is the preferred gateway to the Chinese market, enabling seamless connection with China’s supply chains and one‑stop sourcing. The expo brings together high‑quality suppliers from Keqiao and other major textile clusters nationwide, offering competitive pricing, comprehensive product lines, and flexible minimum order quantities to meet diverse procurement needs—from fast‑fashion small batches to large‑scale brand orders.
  • A Vanguard for Fashion Trends and Design Innovation: Concurrent with the expo, high‑profile events such as the “China Fabric Trend Release,” “Keqiao Fashion Week,” and the “Fabric Design Competition” are held, collaborating with renowned domestic and international trend‑forecasting institutes and designers to unveil the next season’s fabric trends. Exhibiting companies can promptly access the latest directions in color, material, pattern, and craftsmanship, gaining insights into emerging trends in functional fabrics, sustainable textiles, smart fabrics, and other cutting‑edge segments.
  • Shaoxing’s Geographical and Industrial Advantages: Located in the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, Shaoxing Keqiao is just a 30‑minute drive from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and reachable by high‑speed rail to Shanghai in approximately 1.5 hours. Benefiting from the Yangtze River Delta’s strong textile industry base and convenient international trade corridors, the Keqiao Textile Expo provides exhibitors with a strategic location for connecting with markets across China and around the globe. Exhibition Review

The 2025 China Shaoxing Keqiao International Textile Fabrics and Accessories Expo (Spring) was successfully held from May 6 to 8 at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center. Co-hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, the Shaoxing Municipal People’s Government, and the Zhejiang Committee of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the event was themed “Green·Fashion·Smart Manufacturing” and stood as the most significant spring trade show in China’s textile industry. Concurrent with the expo were a series of related activities, including the China Fabric Trend Release, Keqiao Fashion Week, and the Global Fabric Sourcing Matchmaking Conference.

With an exhibition area of 45,000 square meters, the show brought together over 800 exhibiting companies, spanning multiple halls within the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibitor lineup featured leading domestic fabric manufacturers such as Lutai Textile, Tianhong Textile, Huafu Fashion, and Bailong Oriental, alongside internationally renowned brands including Toray, Lenzing, Invista, and Hyosung. Overseas buyers from more than 80 countries and regions—including the United States, Italy, France, Japan, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Brazil—attended to source materials. Over the three-day event, the expo welcomed more than 50,000 professional visitors, among whom over 4,000 were international buyers.

The Functional Fabrics Zone emerged as the standout highlight of this year’s event. This dedicated area showcased functional fabrics for sports and outdoor applications, medical protection, smart wearables, and other specialized uses. Taihua New Materials presented its “Bio-based Nylon 56” fabric, which utilizes renewable biomass feedstocks and delivers notable low-carbon and environmentally friendly performance. Chaoying International unveiled its “High-Elastic Breathable Sports Fabric,” already adopted by several international sportswear brands. Huafeng Spandex introduced differentiated products such as “Chlorine-Resistant Spandex” and “Low-Temperature Hot-Melt Spandex.” Many companies noted that, driven by the growing popularity of outdoor activities and health-conscious consumption, demand for functional fabrics is experiencing rapid growth.

The Green and Sustainable Fabrics Zone also drew strong interest. Lenzing Group exhibited its TENCEL brand lyocell fiber fabrics, crafted from biodegradable wood-based fibers, with solvent recovery rates exceeding 99% during production. Invista showcased its “Renewable Nylon 66” fabric, manufactured through the recycling of discarded carpets and industrial waste. Huafu Fashion launched its “Recycled Cotton Blend” series, repurposing textile waste into new products. Several international buyers remarked that European and American brands are imposing increasingly stringent sustainability requirements, making green fabrics certified under standards such as GRS and OEKO‑TEX particularly attractive.

The China Fabric Trend Release served as a key industry benchmark. In collaboration with the China Textile Information Center, WGSN, and other authoritative institutions, the expo unveiled the Spring/Summer 2026 Chinese fabric trend outlook, encompassing four major themes: “Nature in Harmony,” “Digital Illusion,” “Retro Revival,” and “Functional Aesthetics.” “Nature in Harmony” emphasizes natural fibers and eco-friendly manufacturing processes; “Digital Illusion” highlights digital printing and technologically advanced fabrics; “Retro Revival” focuses on modern interpretations of traditional materials and classic patterns; while “Functional Aesthetics” underscores the integration of comfort and cutting-edge technological features.

The Global Fabric Sourcing Matchmaking Conference yielded substantial results. Held on the second day of the expo, the conference brought together purchasing representatives from international brands such as ZARA, H&M, Uniqlo, Nike, and Adidas, along with buyer teams from prominent domestic apparel labels and cross-border e‑commerce sellers, to engage in one‑on‑one negotiations with exhibiting companies. Preliminary estimates indicate that the event resulted in intended procurement commitments exceeding RMB 500 million. An overseas buyer from Bangladesh stated, “Keqiao offers a comprehensive range of fabrics, reliable quality, and competitive pricing—making it an indispensable sourcing destination for us every year.”

As the global textile industry accelerates its transition toward greener, more functional, and smarter solutions, Keqiao’s position as the “Global Light Textiles Capital” continues to strengthen. Leveraging its geographical advantages and robust trade networks, the Keqiao Textile Expo has become a strategic platform for textile companies worldwide to showcase new products, connect with customers, gain insights into emerging trends, and expand their market reach.
