Beijing International Mould Exhibition

The Beijing International Mould Exhibition 2026 (MOULD EXPO 2026) was successfully held from May 14 to 16 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing (Chaoyang Hall). Co-organized by the China Equipment Management Association and the China National Machinery Industry Corporation, this year’s event was themed “Smart Manufacturing, Leading a New Future, and New Models of Cooperation,” making it the most significant annual platform for technological exchange and business matchmaking in the mould manufacturing industry.

Exhibition Space and Exhibitor Numbers Reach New Highs. This edition spanned 30,000 square meters, bringing together 360 exhibiting companies from 36 countries and regions worldwide, including numerous Fortune Global 500 enterprises. The showcased products covered the entire mould manufacturing value chain, ranging from precision metal-cutting and specialized machining centers, mould and forming technologies, stamping equipment and plastic machinery, to 3D additive manufacturing, automation integration solutions, and industrial robots. The exhibition attracted a total of 68,200 professional visitors who came to explore and procure, resulting in multiple preliminary cooperation agreements on-site.

Exhibitor Profile Demonstrates Leadership and Internationalization. Beijing Jingdiao Group presented its JDGR600 five-axis high-speed machining center, while Makino showcased ultra-precise machining equipment, and Mitsubishi Electric Automation exhibited EDM and wire-cutting machines. Internationally renowned brands such as GF Machining Solutions, FANUC, Siemens, ZEISS, and Mitutoyo were all represented. End-user companies—including BAIC Group, Gestamp, Plastic Omnium, Yanfeng Hainachuan, Xiaomi, Panasonic, and Canon—sent delegation teams to visit and source, providing mould manufacturers with invaluable opportunities to directly engage with end-market customers. Defense-related enterprises like China North Industries Group Corporation and AVIC also actively participated.

Showcase Highlights: Precision Machining and 3D Printing Take Center Stage. This year’s exhibition featured cutting-edge offerings such as five-axis high-speed machining centers, EDM and wire-cutting machines, and micron-level precision machining equipment. The 3D printing and additive manufacturing zone emerged as a major highlight, with demonstrations of metal 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and laser-based specialty machining. Beijing Jingdiao Group unveiled its JDGR600 five-axis high-speed machining center, equipped with the Jingdiao JD50 CNC system, capable of micron-level precision machining suitable for complex precision parts and mirror-finish moulds. Companies including Xinjinghe, Zhongji New Materials, and Yunshang Intelligent Manufacturing showcased advanced metal 3D printing technologies.

Rich Concurrent Events. Throughout the exhibition, numerous high-level technical forums and new-product launch events were held, where industry experts and corporate R&D leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as technological innovation, smart manufacturing upgrades, and digital transformation within the mould sector. The event also provided exhibitors with platforms to connect with downstream industries—including automotive, electronics, and aerospace—thereby fostering deeper collaboration across the supply chain.

Strong Response from Exhibitors and Industry Participants. Exhibiting companies generally reported that the quality of professional buyers attending the show was exceptionally high, with clear purchasing intentions. Well-known end-users such as BAIC Group, Xiaomi, Panasonic, and Canon sent delegation teams to visit and source, offering mould manufacturers valuable opportunities to directly engage with end-market customers. Attendees agreed that, after years of development, MOULD EXPO has become one of the most influential professional exhibitions for the mould industry in Northern China, serving as a strategic platform for product showcasing, customer engagement, trend insight, and market expansion.
