China (Shanghai) International Powder Metallurgy and Cemented Carbide Exhibition

The 17th China International Powder Metallurgy and Cemented Carbide Exhibition (PM CHINA 2025) was successfully held from March 10 to 12, 2025, at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center. Hosted by Xinzhilian Elise Exhibition Co., Ltd., this edition of the show featured a five‑exhibition synergy with the Advanced Ceramics Exhibition, Additive Manufacturing Exhibition, Magnetic Materials Exhibition, and Powder Processing Exhibition, making it an annual highlight in the powder metallurgy and cemented carbide sectors.

In terms of scale, the exhibition covered 50,000 square meters, bringing together over 900 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, including 93 international participants. Over the three days, it welcomed a total of 72,543 professional visitors, an 18.7% increase compared to 2024, marking a new record. International visitors came from 52 countries and regions, with South Korea, Japan, India, Germany, and the United States ranking in the top five. Domestic attendees represented 61 cities across 35 provinces, with East China accounting for 71.73% of the total. Among the visitors, procurement and supply chain managers made up 41%, R&D personnel 36%, and corporate executives and decision‑makers 22%.

This year’s event boasted numerous highlights, with leading industry players drawing widespread attention. Well‑known domestic and international brands such as China Iron & Steel Research Institute, Dongmu, Baolaidi, BASF, Höganäs, Yue’an New Materials, Jinchuan, and Longding showcased cutting‑edge technologies and innovative products. Exhibits spanned the entire value chain, including powder metallurgy raw materials, cemented carbide products, sintering equipment, forming machinery, and testing instruments, collectively presenting the latest advancements in the field.

A rich array of concurrent events created a high‑level platform for industry exchange. During the exhibition, more than ten premium conferences and forums were held, including the 17th Shanghai Powder Metallurgy Industry Forum, the 13th Shanghai Injection Molding Forum, the 7th SAMA Additive Manufacturing Conference, and the Metal‑Based Powders and Composite Materials Forum. The 18th China International Powder Metallurgy and Cemented Carbide Exhibition (PM CHINA 2026) is scheduled to take place from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The event is expected to feature an expanded exhibition space of 55,000 square meters, with approximately 1,000 exhibitors and over 80,000 professional visitors.
