Gostinyy Dvor

The Gostiny Dvor Exhibition and Convention Center in Moscow, Russia, is a landmark in the history of architecture. Located just 150 meters from the Kremlin, it ranks among Moscow’s most beautiful buildings. The origins of Gostiny Dvor date back to the 14th century; by the late 18th century, the renowned Italian architect Jacomo Quarenghi had undertaken an ambitious renovation project, transforming the structure into a masterpiece of elegant architectural style. In 1995, under the leadership of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, the building underwent a comprehensive exterior overhaul, reimagining it as a modern commercial and cultural hub meeting international service standards—a harmonious blend of historical grandeur and cutting-edge functionality.
Following its renovation, the Moscow Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center now spans a total area of 82,000 square meters, offering a full range of facilities, including hotels, shops, restaurants, banks, bars, offices, beauty salons, and exhibition halls. Although the exterior has remained largely unchanged, the usable floor space has been significantly expanded. The Moscow Gostiny Dvor Exhibition Center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
