The Pacific Science Center in Seattle, Washington is an independent, non-profit science center dedicated to inspiring curiosity and a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking. The Pacific Science Center's campus is adjacent to the Seattle Center, the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue, Washington, and serves communities and classrooms throughout the state of Washington.
The Pacific Science Center is located at the southwest corner of the Seattle Center, spanning 7.1 acres (29,000 square meters). The Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center is a satellite campus that is a collaborative project between the Pacific Science Center and the City of Bellevue, offering educational programs on environmental management, wetland ecology, and natural awareness for all age groups. The Pacific Science Center also provides year-round programs for teens, youth, families, and adults, including summer camps at various Puget Sound locations, 21+ science-themed events, and research weekends.
