Shandong Taian Taishan Convention and Exhibition Center

The Shandong Taian Taishan Convention and Exhibition Center is designed as a unified structure composed of four square cauldrons, symbolizing “a prosperous era crowned by golden cauldrons, ensuring national peace and people’s well-being.”

The building is situated along the central axis of Taian’s urban development, 500 meters north of Taishan Avenue, between Wangyue East and West Roads. It occupies a site of 149 mu, with a total floor area of 83,000 square meters. To the north lies a transportation plaza accommodating approximately 600 parking spaces, while to the south is the under-construction Taian Wanda Plaza commercial district.

The main convention center building measures 180 meters in length, 160 meters in width, and 24 meters in height, featuring two above-ground floors and one underground level. On the west side are specialized exhibition halls and a conference center, while the east side houses a multi-purpose exhibition hall. A continuous north–south atrium serves as the central foyer for exhibitions and meetings. The first floor comprises a 9,600-square-meter multi-purpose exhibition hall on the east side and a two-story, double-height special exhibition hall spanning over 4,900 square meters on the west side; the second floor also offers a 9,600-square-meter multi-purpose exhibition space, interconnected via a north–south shared atrium. In addition, the complex includes an outdoor exhibition area of more than 15,000 square meters.

Large-scale conference facilities are located in the northwest section of the main building, including a state-of-the-art 1,200-seat auditorium, a 300-seat international lecture hall equipped with simultaneous interpretation systems, eight smaller meeting rooms, and one large multifunctional hall.
