Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center

Recently, the exhibition area of the Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center project, invested and constructed by China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Co., Ltd., was officially powered on, marking the completion of all physical construction work in the exhibition area of the project. The project's commissioning work has officially begun, and it is planned to be officially put into operation by the end of September this year.

Located in the core area of our city's eastern coastal new city, the project has a total investment of approximately 3.214 billion yuan and a building area of about 252,600 square meters, making it one of the "10+2" major projects for Shandong's new and old kinetic energy conversion. The project adopts an overall structural layout of "枕山襟海、滨水核心" (枕山襟海, 滨水核心), integrating design elements such as "海、流、伸展、生命" (海, 流, 伸展, 生命). It is an international and comprehensive economic and trade exchange center that combines exhibition, cultural exchange, and commercial services. It is the first international conference center in our city and the venue for the Shandong Provincial Architectural Design Grand Prize.

The Weihai International Economic and Trade Exchange Center is located in the core area of the eastern coastal new city. This project is invested and constructed by Weihai Urban Investment Group and operated by Beichen Exhibition Group. Upon completion, it will become the first international and comprehensive conference and exhibition center in Weihai. The intelligent design of the meeting system meets the highest international standards, capable of satisfying high-definition video conferencing and simultaneous interpretation requirements worldwide. It integrates multiple functions including exhibition, cultural exchange, and commercial services.

The exhibition complex includes four standard exhibition halls and one multi-functional exhibition hall, as well as double-story exhibition halls, registration halls, and other facilities. It also features an outdoor exhibition area of 8,500 square meters. The standard exhibition halls primarily serve large-scale exhibitions with approximately 2,700 booths. The multi-functional exhibition hall serves as a special professional and multi-functional exhibition space with approximately 660 booths.
