The Cheltenham Racecourse is located in Prestbury Park near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. Cheltenham's horse racing activities began in 1815, but they were initially small flat races held at Nottingham Hill. 1902 was a significant year as that was when the races moved to their current track at Prestbury Park.
