The World of Coffee is part of the SCA's annual World Coffee Trade Show. It includes the Roasting Village, SCA lecture series, workshops, expanded exhibition space, Best New Product and Coffee Design Awards, a rich community and social activities schedule, and SCA community lounges.
The European Coffee Industry Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and developing coffee culture and improving the quality of coffee and barista skills. The World of Coffee is one of the largest coffee exhibitions in Europe, held annually in different European cities. In 2017, the exhibition was held in Athens, Greece, hence it was known as "World of Coffee Athens".
