Currently, domestic production capacity for food ingredients in Russia meets less than 50% of consumer demand. The majority of ingredients and raw materials rely on imports. Trade volumes are growing annually, with products such as plant proteins, soy protein, stevia, and dehydrated vegetables being particularly popular among Russian wholesalers.
