The Jiangmen Advanced Manufacturing Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Jiangmen Manufacturing Expo) is being held at a time when the advanced equipment manufacturing sector is expanding in tandem with the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. Looking ahead, Jiangmen will adopt a global perspective and strategic vision to strategically position itself, actively cultivating a new economic growth pole on the west bank of the Pearl River and seizing the commanding heights of future economic development. This expo has been organized in response to the government’s call and the substantial market demand, aiming to accelerate the development of advanced equipment manufacturing in the Jiangmen region and to support manufacturing enterprises in undertaking a new round of technological upgrades.

Jiangmen is a long-established industrial base in Guangdong, boasting a solid foundation for manufacturing development. Since 2019, in pursuit of building a city renowned for advanced manufacturing and fostering the rapid emergence of trillion-yuan‑scale industrial clusters—thereby achieving a qualitative leap in economic development—Jiangmen has focused on establishing major platforms for industrial growth. The city has introduced a series of effective policies and measures, including accelerating project commencement and production, enhancing core enterprise competitiveness, concentrating investment promotion efforts on key industries, and creating a favorable business environment, yielding remarkable results. In particular, the high-end equipment manufacturing sector has demonstrated strong momentum, with notable industrial projects clustering in three major areas: rail transit, shipbuilding, and intelligent equipment and machine tools.

In addition, to enhance on-site supporting services, the organizers have invited financial institutions such as ICBC, ABC, BOC, Bank of Communications, GF Bank, and China Merchants Bank to participate, thereby helping the financial sector take concrete actions to stabilize businesses and safeguard employment. Concurrent with the expo, the “Jiangmen Advanced Manufacturing Development Forum” and the “Belt and Road Empowering Innovative Development in Manufacturing Forum” were also held, bringing together representatives from various levels of government and industry experts to address pressing industry issues and provide on‑site guidance to participating enterprises.

At the previous edition of the Jiangmen Manufacturing Expo, 400 companies took part, with prominent domestic brands—including Guangzhou CNC, Jujin Laser, Honglei Laser, Ningbo Yongduan, Zhide Punch Press, Datie CNC, Huafang CNC, Ligong Deep Hole Drilling, Nanda Robotics, Yibu Packaging, Fengxing Packaging, Fland Tools, Yaoxin Cutting Tools, Shunlu Cutting Tools, and others—making impressive appearances at the event.（Copyright of this article belongs to Juzhan; unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.）
