The Beijing International Exhibition on Marine Engineering Technology and Equipment (China Maritime, abbreviated as Beijing Marine Engineering Exhibition) has become one of the most influential industry events, covering marine engineering, offshore oil and gas, and onshore oil and gas sectors.It aims to leverage Beijing’s global international perspective to establish a high‑end exhibition platform spanning the entire global marine industry, fostering exchanges and cooperation in marine technology and equipment between domestic and international players, and promoting cutting‑edge marine technologies and equipment worldwide while generating significant social benefits.

Marine engineering equipment manufacturing is identified as one of the priority areas under the “Made in China 2025” initiative. It constitutes an essential component of China’s strategic emerging industries and a key focus within the high‑end equipment manufacturing sector, serving as a critical foundation and support for the nation’s strategy to build a strong maritime country. The proposals outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan also explicitly emphasize: coordinating land and sea development, advancing the marine economy, and accelerating efforts to become a maritime power; enhancing the sustainable development and protection of marine and mineral resources; and strategically developing emerging industries. The Beijing International Exhibition on Marine Engineering Technology and Equipment—CM—has attracted 1,800 exhibiting companies from 65 countries and regions, including 46 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, 18 international pavilions, and 123,000 professional visitors, with an exhibition space of 100,000 square meters. It has now established itself as Asia’s premier annual marine engineering event.Concurrent with the exhibition, the “Offshore Wind Power Industry Development Summit Forum” was held, earning widespread acclaim from industry associations and relevant government agencies.
