The China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) is China's only national-level exhibition dedicated to the marine economy. Co-hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources of the PRC and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, it serves as a vital platform for accelerating marine technological innovation, enhancing marine resource development capabilities, fostering emerging strategic marine industries, and promoting maritime connectivity and practical cooperation across various sectors.

Covering an exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters, the expo features a main pavilion plus multiple thematic exhibition zones indoors, along with a dedicated leisure boat and yacht zone outdoors. Focusing on six key application scenarios—shipbuilding and port shipping, marine oil & gas and mineral resource development, marine engineering and environmental protection, marine electronic information, marine biomedicine, and marine tourism and culture—it showcases the latest achievements, cutting-edge technologies, and international cooperation opportunities in the marine sector. The event will present exchanges, innovations, and applications across the upstream and downstream marine industry chain, offering a brilliant experience both online and offline.

The expo attracts a gathering of industry-leading exhibitors, including major marine enterprises such as China Merchants Group, CSSC, CNOOC, CNPC, CIMC, Shenzhen Port Group, Nanshan Group, and ZTT. It also features key research institutions and universities directly under the Ministry of Natural Resources and marine research bodies, such as the National Marine Data and Information Service, Ocean University of China, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (CAS), Institute of Geology and Geophysics (CAS), Southern University of Science and Technology, and Guangdong Marine Association. Additionally, marine strategic emerging and future industry enterprises from Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial clusters, including Shenzhen Smart Ocean, Haisibi, Langcheng Technology, Dimension Data, Jinhang, Baiqin Energy, Dewei Sheng, and Asia-Pacific Starlink, will showcase new products and technologies highlighting high-quality marine development. Leading multinational corporations and institutions such as the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS), Kongsberg, and Regal Rexnord will also actively participate, demonstrating comprehensive blue economy strengths from multiple dimensions. The China Marine Economy Expo will host over 20 forums, including the Global Marine Center City Forum and numerous specialized forums. The Global Marine Center City Forum will invite heavyweight figures from the global marine sector to discuss macro-level topics such as marine technology, marine industries, shipping and transportation, marine civilization, cooperative marine governance, and the development of global marine center cities and blue partnerships. Specialized forums will be co-organized with marine enterprises, industry associations, research institutions, and universities, focusing on foundational, frontier, and strategic marine issues. These forums will gather leaders from marine and financial investment institutions, representatives from internationally renowned marine organizations, diplomatic envoys from marine-related countries stationed in China, and executives from Fortune 500 companies, providing global intellectual support for marine technological innovation and resource development.

The China Marine Economy Expo will continue to dedicate itself to advancing the development of the marine economy, sharing the boundless potential of the blue economy, accelerating the arrival of a global "blue" future, and creating more opportunities for international cooperation and mutual benefit.
