Approved by the State Council of China and co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Guizhou Provincial People's Government, the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo (GIAE) is a large-scale, internationally renowned professional exhibition dedicated to the alcoholic beverage industry. It aims to promote the globalization of China's liquor industry, integrate global liquor markets into China, and foster mutual exchange and cooperation worldwide.

The expo has become a vital platform for economic, trade, and investment exchanges across the global liquor industry and its entire supply chain. Since 2015, it has been consecutively rated as one of the "Top Ten Brand Exhibitions in China," ranking first among professional exhibitions. Prior to 2018, it was the only international liquor exhibition in China certified by UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry). Each edition is attended by Chinese national leaders, foreign dignitaries, representatives from domestic and international liquor industry associations, heads of key production and marketing enterprises, as well as prominent buyers and distributors.

The China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo features pavilions including the International Famous Liquor Pavilion, Chinese Famous Liquor Pavilion, Domestic & Overseas Comprehensive Liquor Pavilion, Core Baijiu Production Area Boutique Pavilion, Sauce-Aroma Core Production Area Pavilion, Full Industry Chain Pavilion, and a series of "Liquor + Culture/Tourism/Internet/Finance" pavilions, alongside an International Fine Liquor Carnival and comprehensive exhibition zones. The event hosts 3,635 exhibitors, with nearly 1,000 from overseas. According to incomplete statistics, on-site transactions during the expo reached RMB 3.432 billion.

Themed "Gathering Global Fine Wines, Promoting Investment and Trade," the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo delivers innovative and outstanding activities, with multiple metrics hitting record highs. The majority of attendees have affirmed the event's effectiveness, with many exhibitors reporting results that exceeded expectations.

The expo has fostered the emergence and growth of numerous distinctive local liquor products. Regional specialties such as Guizhou Floral Liquor, Panzhou Renmin Xiaojiu, Renhuai Blueberry Liqueur, Huishui Black Glutinous Rice Wine, Dejiang Gastrodia Elata Wine, Huaxi Eucommia Wine, Qianxinan Gu'annan Tea Wine, and Xingren Coix Seed Wine have flourished rapidly.（The copyright of this content belongs to JZhan. The exhibition prominently highlights the sauce-aroma liquor production region concept, represented by Moutai. The Moutai booth features a comprehensive brand display, marking the most prominent step towards brand-oriented and international alignment for the expo. Other well-known regional brands such as Xi Jiu, Wangzi, Yingbin, Dong Jiu, Jinsha, Zhen Jiu, Guizhou Chun, Qing Jiu, An Jiu, and Yaxi have also received extensive display and promotion.

Through the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, numerous domestic and international merchants use liquor as a medium to network, attract investment, and foster cooperation, seizing new development opportunities. The global liquor industry is transitioning from a "market competition" model to one of "competition and cooperation, collaboration and win-win outcomes." This shift presents both challenges and unprecedented opportunities for the development of China's and the world's liquor industries.
