The China Alcohol and Sugar Commodities Trading Fair (referred to as: China Alcohol and Sugar Fair) is known as the "barometer" of the Chinese food industry. It started in 1955 and is one of the oldest large-scale professional exhibitions in Chinese history. The China Alcohol and Sugar Fair is the most extensive exhibition in the Chinese food and alcohol industry with a long history, large scale, and profound influence. It is recognized by industry insiders as a commitment to serving industry development and national economic construction and social progress is the unchanging principle of the fair. The China Alcohol and Sugar Fair is expected to have over 6,600 exhibitors participating, showcasing more than 300,000 items. This session will feature the debut of special zones for dairy products and ice cream, the Chinese liquor industry chain, and innovative ingredients. The total exhibition area reaches 325,000 square meters, setting a record for all previous sessions. It is anticipated that over 400,000 professional visitors will attend, with exhibitors' intention to transact expected to exceed 100 billion yuan.

Mr. Shi Dongyan, Secretary General of the China Alcohol and Sugar Fair Organizing Committee, introduced that one of the major features of this session is the high number and quality of customers exhibiting in group form. About 30 domestic delegations, including those from Beijing, Jiangxi, Gansu, Guangxi, Chongqing, etc., and international delegations from France, Japan, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands, New Zealand, etc., totaling 24, will participate in the exhibition, reflecting the accumulation of favorable factors for economic upturn.
