China–Eurasia Expo Profile
The China–Eurasia Expo (CHINA EURASIA EXPO) is themed “New Opportunities along the Silk Road, New Vitality for Eurasia.” With an exhibition area of 140,000 square meters, it has attracted exhibitors and participants from 49 countries, regions, and international organizations, bringing together over 3,000 domestic and overseas enterprises and institutions—a record-breaking figure. Among them, more than 300 are central state-owned enterprises, Fortune Global 500 companies, and specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative firms, while the number of domestic professional buyers reached 23,700.
This edition of the expo has achieved a significant leap in quality, offering a wealth of highlights. Particularly noteworthy is the palpable sense of technology and futurism—robotic arms precisely execute coffee brewing, frothing milk, and creating latte art; humanoid robots clad in Ailaisi silk perform the lively tune “Black Horse Galloping”... These immersive, real-world experiences captivate visitors and leave them reluctant to depart. According to statistics, specially designed booths account for 86% of the entire venue, up 9 percentage points from the previous edition. Innovative breakthroughs in cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, the low-altitude economy, digital manufacturing, and biotechnology shine together, vividly reflecting the powerful momentum of industrial transformation.
This year’s expo adopts a “one hall, multiple zones” layout, dividing the space into six specialized sections: Investment & Cooperation, New‑Type Productivity, Industries with Distinctive Advantages, Green Development, Cultural‑Tourism Integration, and Silk Road Cooperation. Notably, New‑Type Productivity and Green Development have been newly established as flagship thematic zones. A cohort of science and technology enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta and the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area make their collective debut, showcasing groundbreaking solutions such as all‑domain computing infrastructure, multilingual cross‑border interaction systems, and urban digital governance platforms. Their exhibits span diverse application scenarios, including plateau transportation, energy inspection, cross‑border trade, and urban governance.
Leveraging its unique geographical position at the heart of Eurasia and adjacent to Central Asia, and capitalizing on the open platform provided by the China–Eurasia Expo, Xinjiang is firmly moving beyond its traditional role as a mere transit corridor. From technological implementation to industrial clustering, and from unidirectional inflow to bidirectional connectivity, this dynamic region is harnessing new‑type productivity to drive its opening-up strategy, steadily building itself into a regional innovation hub that faces Central Asia and radiates across Eurasia, thus writing a new chapter in the era of westward openness.
