The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the PRC, the Jilin Provincial People's Government, and the Changchun Municipal People's Government. It is co-organized by the Changchun Municipal People's Government, the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Jilin Provincial Supply and Marketing Cooperative, and Jilin Agricultural University, with the co-support of the Management Committee of Changchun Jingyue High-tech Industrial Development Zone.

Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, this edition of the expo thoroughly implements General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. It closely aligns with the requirements to take the lead in achieving agricultural modernization and become a pioneer in this field. With the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy as the overarching focus, it concentrates efforts on winning the battle against poverty, addressing shortcomings in the "three rural" sectors for comprehensive well-being, consolidating agricultural and rural development, and promoting comprehensive upgrading of agriculture, progress in rural areas, and development for farmers.
