Profile
The China–ASEAN Expo is an international economic and trade event co‑hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce, the economic and trade authorities of the ten ASEAN member states, and the ASEAN Secretariat, with the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region serving as the organizer. As a national‑level flagship exhibition directly sponsored at the highest governmental level, it enjoys unique international influence and is held annually, playing a pivotal role in fostering China–ASEAN friendship and cooperation, supporting the Belt and Road Initiative, and advancing international industrial capacity cooperation.
The China–ASEAN Expo stands out as a truly distinctive international fair, widely acclaimed by political and business leaders in both China and ASEAN countries. Among more than 6,000 exhibitions nationwide, it is the only one to be attended by a top-level Chinese leader—specifically, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. Alongside the Boao Forum for Asia and the Summer Davos Forum, it is classified as a Category‑I national exhibition.
With the theme “Sharing Opportunities of the 3.0 Era, Co‑Creating a Better Life,” AI has been brought center stage for the first time, serving as the overarching thread that weaves through the exhibition, related events, and services. This is far more than a mere technological upgrade. As algorithms transcend national borders and smart devices extend their reach into every city across Southeast Asia, China and ASEAN are undergoing a profound transformation—from physical connectivity toward intellectual symbiosis.
ASEAN participating countries have actively organized the introduction of new exhibits. Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, and other ASEAN nations have eagerly submitted lists of their initial exhibiting enterprises. Indonesia has nominated 40 companies, whose offerings span specialty foods, home‑decor crafts, jewelry and accessories, beauty and personal care products, aquatic goods, and investment‑driven industrial park initiatives. Notably, Fortune Global 500 company Pertamina and industry leader Golden Peak Group will make their debut, underscoring the high quality and robust capabilities of the ASEAN pavilion.Malaysia has submitted a total of 40 enterprises, including innovative firms selected by its Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, further elevating the “high‑tech” profile of the ASEAN exhibit area.
As the featured country for this edition, the Philippines has registered 44 enterprises, showcasing products across five major categories: food and beverages, home fashion, personal care, tourism services, and financial services. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of AI‑focused start-ups within the Philippine delegation, highlighting the expo’s emphasis on AI as a central theme. Thailand has initially nominated 100 exhibitors, covering diverse sectors such as home fashion, food and beverages, health and beauty, fashion accessories, and home décor items.
The China–ASEAN Expo will further enhance its service standards, strengthen mechanisms for precise matchmaking, and facilitate seamless connections between high‑quality ASEAN products and China’s vast domestic market, continuously injecting fresh momentum into regional economic and trade cooperation.
China-ASEAN Expo – CAEXPO tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
