The Value of Participating in the Chuhai Network Global Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition

  • The Shenzhen Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition (CHWE) is one of China’s largest and most influential specialized cross-border e-commerce events, often hailed as “China’s No. 1 Cross-border E-commerce Trade Show.”Organized by Chuhai Network and executed by Chaoyu Exhibition, it is held twice annually—in spring and autumn—at the Shenzhen Futian Convention & Exhibition Center. With five successful editions under its belt, it has earned widespread recognition within the industry as a pivotal hub connecting China’s premium supply chains with global consumer demand. The exhibition adopts a diversified ecological positioning centered on “B2C + B2 small B + DTC + DTB,” linking China’s high-quality supply chains and brand resources on one end, while connecting to global consumer needs on the other. It serves as a one-stop global business-matching platform for cross-border e-commerce platforms, service providers, sellers, traditional foreign traders, and manufacturing enterprises.
  • The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled scale effect and its unique ability to precisely connect with global buyers. The Spring 2026 edition is projected to span 100,000 square meters, gathering over 3,800 exhibiting companies and attracting 150,000 professional visitors. Among them, more than 70% are decision-makers in cross-border e-commerce, major seller purchasing delegations, and overseas buyers, including those from Shein, Anker, Aoji, Roborock, Savvy Era, and other leading enterprises, alongside overseas purchasing groups from Russia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. The exhibition features dedicated 1-on-1 buyer-seller matchmaking zones, precisely inviting over 50 billion-dollar-level buyers, enabling factories to engage directly with purchasing decision-makers and bypass intermediaries for efficient order matching.
  • The exhibition establishes a comprehensive one-stop commercial platform covering the entire cross-border industrial chain. Exhibits span 15+ popular categories—including household goods, baby and children’s toys, fashion footwear and accessories, beauty and personal care products, festive gifts, and stationery—and eight major industry pavilions, covering 80+ national industrial belts. The event brings together over 80 mainstream global cross-border platforms, more than 200 ecosystem service providers, and over 100 major seller purchasing delegations, forming a complete closed-loop cross-border industrial ecosystem—from platform entry and logistics/warehousing, to financial payments, marketing campaigns, and compliance services.
  • The exhibition keeps pace with three major industry trends—brand globalization, AI empowerment, and end-to-end service—building a cutting-edge technological hub deeply integrating industry, academia, research, and application. Concurrent with the exhibition, global cross-border e-commerce summits and over ten specialized forums are held, inviting executives and industry experts from platforms like TikTok Shop, Amazon, and AliExpress to share insights on strategies for creating breakout products from 0 to 1 to 10, practical approaches to traffic allocation and high conversion rates, and advanced tactics in influencer marketing. The exhibition also launches initiatives such as “Sea Tide Brand Globalization,” integrating Meta, Google, and TikTok’s overseas media resources, as well as “Sea Shell Distribution,” a zero-inventory, zero-stock-risk platform, helping Chinese enterprises reduce costs, boost efficiency, and enhance brand resilience.
  • For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition represents a strategic gateway for opening up global markets, connecting with international resources, and showcasing innovative strengths. Leveraging Shenzhen’s advantageous position as a National Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, the exhibition radiates across domestic industrial belts and reaches global purchasing communities. In the Spring 2025 edition, visitor satisfaction soared to 99.2%, exhibitor satisfaction reached 96.7%, and booth renewal rates exceeded 76%. Many enterprises secured substantial orders through the exhibition—for example, Zhongshan Yingbang Photographic Equipment saw its overseas orders jump from RMB 3 million to RMB 10 million after participating. International organizations such as France’s Octopia and Poland’s B2P Incubator highly commended the exhibition’s scale and organizational efficiency. Exhibiting companies can use this platform to connect with global purchasing resources, seizing early opportunities in the branding, digitalization, and globalization of the cross-border e-commerce industry.

Review

From September 6 to 8, 2025, the 5th CHWE Global Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition (Autumn) was successfully held at the Shenzhen Futian Convention & Exhibition Center. This edition of the exhibition was themed “Connecting Cross-border Resources, Winning the Global Peak Season,” organized by Chuhai Network and undertaken by Chaoyu Exhibition. It stands as the annual highlight event for the cross-border e-commerce industry in South China.

In terms of scale, this year’s exhibition covered an area of 80,000 square meters, bringing together official representatives from over 30 global cross-border platforms, more than 40 top-tier pioneers in overseas expansion, and over 100 purchasing delegations from leading sellers. Despite challenging typhoon conditions, the three-day event attracted 121,683 professional visitors, with online livestream viewership reaching 293,396, and on-site booth renewal rates hitting 76%. Concurrent with the exhibition, numerous high-level forums were held, addressing hot topics such as TikTok Shop traffic growth, DTC brand globalization, and year-end peak-season operational strategies.

This year’s show featured a wealth of highlights, with platform presentations and practical case studies serving as the central attractions. More than 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms—including TikTok Shop, Amazon, AliExpress, Cdiscount, and Octopia—made their collective debut, offering in-depth analyses of the latest global industry trends and category growth guidelines for the year-end peak season. TikTok pet product leader Lena shared her real-world experience on “How a Startup Team Achieves Explosive Quarterly GMV Growth from Zero to Ten Million,” drawing a packed audience; TikTok’s top seller of bags in the , TunTun, dissected the key pathways behind explosive sales during peak promotions; and Chen Shaohua, head of Wotu Network in Shenzhen, emphasized focusing on influencer marketing as a strategic approach to capturing peak-season orders. Innovative methodologies presented by Lily, CMO of Global Customization Network, on “Zero-Inventory, High-Margin POD Models,” and Lisa, head of Haibei Distribution, on “New Seller Strategies for Capitalizing on Product Stockpiles,” sparked lively discussions among attendees.

A rich array of concurrent events further elevated the exhibition, establishing it as a premier platform for industry exchange. On the first day, the “Huidong Women’s Shoes: Sailing Across Borders” special session successfully bridged Huidong’s women’s footwear industry with the cross-border e-commerce sector. The highly anticipated 2025 Cross-border E-commerce Thousand Sails Awards Ceremony honored exemplary enterprises, pioneering brands, and innovative solutions, fully embodying the core values and outstanding achievements of China’s cross-border forces. Additionally, the exhibition launched the “2025 First Shantou Global Cross-border E-commerce Expo and Comprehensive E-commerce Supply Chain Exhibition” project, further expanding its reach.

The professional visitor base was robust, with exceptional quality of buyer resources. The event drew professional buyers and technical experts from around the globe, including procurement teams from leading companies such as Roborock, Savvy Era, Aoji, Anker, Zhiou Technology, Tongtuo, Banggu, and others. Exhibitors widely reported that the quality of professional visitors was high, with clear purchasing objectives, resulting in significant business matchmaking outcomes. For instance, a business manager from Quanzhou Jiarun Electronics in Fujian remarked, “We received numerous inquiries, primarily from cross-border e-commerce sellers, traditional foreign trade firms, and channel partners, with very positive results.” Meanwhile, the overseas warehousing and sales director of France’s Octopia commented, “We are actively advancing collaborations with several high-quality sellers.”

The exhibition yielded impressive results and generated strong industry acclaim. Pawel Wowra, founder of Poland’s B2P Incubator, praised, “The exhibition exceeded all expectations—numerous sellers, large-scale participation, and exceptionally smooth organizational processes.” Visitor satisfaction reached 99.2%, while exhibitor satisfaction stood at 96.7%, with 38.9% of exhibitors expressing “very satisfied” sentiment and over half indicating willingness to return. Attendees agreed that CHWE is not only an excellent platform for brand showcasing and business matchmaking but also a critical hub for gaining insights into global cross-border e-commerce trends and exploring pathways for brand internationalization and digital transformation.

The sixth Shenzhen Chuhai Network Global Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition (CHWE) is scheduled to take place from March 30 to April 1, 2026, at the Shenzhen Futian Convention & Exhibition Center. The exhibition is expected to cover 100,000 square meters, host 3,800 exhibiting companies, attract 150,000 professional visitors, and confirm participation from over 80 cross-border platforms, more than 200 ecosystem service providers, and 100 major seller purchasing delegations.
