China (Guangzhou) International Beauty ExpoProfile
The China International Beauty Expo (CIBE) in Guangzhou is one of China’s largest and longest-running specialized exhibitions for the beauty and cosmetics industry, established in 1989. Boasting a rich array of premium brands and bringing together industry leaders, CIBE serves as an ideal one-stop platform for professionals to execute their procurement strategies.
The beauty industry is undergoing profound transformation. The previous model—relying on flashy marketing gimmicks and short-term gains—is gradually giving way to a more sustainable approach. Chain brands with mature operational frameworks, clear monetization models, and a commitment to compliant, responsible development are emerging as central hubs for aggregating industry resources. According to Meituan data, 89% of beauty establishments today remain single‑store operations, underscoring the substantial market penetration and expansion potential of well‑established chain brands.
Taking industry trends as its guiding principle, the China International Beauty Expo (CIBE) has newly created the “Large‑Scale Chain Store Brand Pavilion,” providing a high‑quality forum for exchange and collaboration among beauty‑industry chain brands. This pavilion will bring together leading brands from sectors including aesthetic services, medical aesthetics, and health management, focusing on key topics such as innovations in chain‑operation models, digital transformation initiatives, franchise system development, and channel‑resource integration. Together with industry peers, it aims to explore pathways toward high‑quality growth for the beauty‑industry chain sector.
CIBE is a cradle for Chinese‑originated national brands and a catalyst for international brands, while also serving as an industry platform that drives cyclical, interconnected development. The “Large‑Scale Chain Store Brand Pavilion” at the China International Beauty Expo (CIBE) warmly invites beauty‑industry chain brands to join forces, share resources, and engage in meaningful dialogue about emerging trends.
China (Guangzhou) International Beauty Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. Exhibition Review
The China (Guangzhou) International Beauty Expo (Spring Edition) successfully concluded from March 10 to 12, 2025, at the Guangzhou Pazhou Convention & Exhibition Center. This edition of the Beauty Expo was themed “Ascend, Look Inward, and Go Global,” spanning an exhibition area of 300,000 square meters. It brought together over 3,800 exhibiting companies from both domestic and international markets, attracting professional buyers from 68 countries and regions.
Area A served as a hub for daily chemical product distribution channels, offering a one-stop closed-loop ecosystem that connects manufacturers to brands, bestsellers to production capabilities. Supply-chain enterprises showcased robust momentum in digital transformation and green development. In the nail and eyelash sectors, a wave of high-end customization swept through, with versatile products such as wearable nails making a striking debut. Area B featured a standout professional beauty showcase, where artificial intelligence technologies drove innovation in the dual beauty industries, enabling personalized beauty solutions tailored to individual consumers; the on-site experience zones were bustling with visitors. Meanwhile, the cyber‑wellness trend championed by Generation Z also shone brightly, seamlessly blending Eastern wellness wisdom with cutting-edge modern technology. Area C’s Health & Wellbeing Zone focused on the twin trillion‑yuan industries of “beauty + health,” highlighting innovative medical initiatives in cell therapy, microbiome health, assisted reproduction, and nutritional wellness.
The Guangzhou Beauty Expo exhibited a pronounced trend toward cross‑industry integration, launching simultaneously online and offline: online, live streams facilitated in-depth dialogues between industry leaders from AI, finance, media, and other fields; offline, a multi‑scenario program encompassing exhibitions, conferences, competitions, awards, shows, and festivals hosted more than 10 specialized thematic exhibitions and 50 bespoke events. Innovative models such as “beauty + medical aesthetics,” “AI + wellness,” and “AI skin analysis” were put into practice, fully demonstrating the expo’s commitment to cross‑sectoral collaboration.
Going global emerged as a key strategic direction for this year’s Guangzhou Beauty Expo, with over 200 overseas business agencies and more than 100 domestic and international KOLs on hand. Through three consecutive days of intensive matchmaking sessions, the event helped enterprises connect with global business opportunities. Concurrently, a series of events were held, including the 2025 China Beauty Brand Overseas Expansion Summit, the first China Duty Free–RiShang National Trend Beauty Overseas Expansion Summit, and an Overseas Content Marketing Summit.
