China (Shanghai) International Exhibition on Machine Vision Technology and Industrial Applications

The 2026 China (Shanghai) International Machine Vision Technology and Industrial Applications Exhibition (MVT) was successfully held from June 3 to 5 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Hosted by the China Equipment Management Association, this edition of the exhibition was themed “Intelligent Integration for All Things, Technology Leading the Future” and took place concurrently with the Munich Shanghai Electronic Production Equipment Exhibition. Together, the two events attracted a total of 86,450 professional visitors.

Exhibition Space and Exhibitor Numbers Reach New Highs. This year’s event spanned 130,000 square meters, bringing together over 1,300 exhibiting companies. The showcased products covered the entire industry chain, including core machine vision components, AI and industrial robotics, intelligent vision equipment, and system solutions. Industry leaders such as Ruisi, Medway Vision, Teledyne, Cognex, Keyence, Hikrobot, and Daheng Image were all present, comprehensively demonstrating cutting-edge advancements—from high-precision industrial cameras and 3D smart vision systems to AI-powered visual algorithms and integrated robotic vision solutions.

The “Vision + AI + Robotics” Innovation Zone Emerged as the Exhibition’s Highlight. Featuring five leading companies—Weijing Robotics, Maili Robotics, Mekamand, Tuyang, and Elsen—the zone, guided by the concept of embodied intelligence, showcased core technologies and real-world applications of machine vision in前沿 areas such as visual navigation, flexible grasping, intelligent inspection, and human–robot collaboration. A series of immersive demonstrations and hands-on experiences drew large crowds, with attendees noting that these integrated technologies and products not only transcend the limitations of single‑technology applications but also make the path toward digital and intelligent factory upgrades clearer and more tangible.

A Rich Array of Exhibits Highlights AI–Vision Integration as the Core Theme. This year’s exhibition showcases a comprehensive lineup of products, including 3D cameras, sensors, AI‑plus‑vision inspection solutions, intelligent vision equipment, AI‑driven vision software, lenses, light sources, image acquisition cards, robots, and AOI inspection systems. The deep integration of machine vision technology with artificial intelligence serves as the key enabler driving the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing facilities—machine vision equips smart equipment with “perceptive eyes,” while AI infuses it with a “decision‑making brain.” Together, these technologies propel production models from “automation” toward “autonomy.”

A Diverse Calendar of Concurrent Events. During the exhibition, a two-day seminar on machine vision technologies and their industrial applications brought together renowned experts, corporate leaders, and industry luminaries, fostering an exceptionally vibrant atmosphere of knowledge sharing. Speakers presented cutting-edge trends in European and Japanese machine vision technologies and explored how AI can catalyze advancements in the semiconductor sector, among other前沿 topics. Participants unanimously agreed that the seamless convergence of machine vision and artificial intelligence stands as the cornerstone driving the next wave of factory digitization and intelligence.
