Ningbo Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition – Ningbo Cross-border ExpoProfile

Ningbo Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition (Ningbo Cross-border Expo), as the “No. 1 Cross-border Event in East China,” is one of the most influential high-end professional cross-border exhibitions in China today and the only domestic trade show centered on the “home‑furnishings” category. At the same time, the Ningbo Cross-border Expo has long served as a key indicator of medium- to long-term industry trends in cross-border e‑commerce, marking the sector’s transition from a “new form of foreign trade” to a “primary growth driver” for international commerce.

Since its inaugural edition in 2021, the Ningbo Cross-border Expo has grown hand in hand with the industry, continuously expanding its scope thanks to its strong reputation and widespread recognition. The Ningbo Cross-border E‑commerce Exhibition (Ningbo Cross-border Expo) will further deepen its industrial‑chain integration and international footprint, creating distinctive “hardcore highlights.”

The Ningbo Cross-border E‑commerce Exhibition (Ningbo Cross-border Expo)is themed “New Foreign Trade, Benefits for the World,” with the goal of building a comprehensive ecosystem for China’s export‑oriented cross‑border e‑commerce. It actively invites exhibitors from across the value chain, including cross‑border e‑commerce platforms, payment services, logistics providers, warehousing operators, legal service firms, talent‑training organizations, industrial parks, third‑party operation agencies, trademark specialists, VAT experts, and more.

Notable participating companies include: Hoya, Aosen, Younite, Anker Innovations, Shein, Global Easy Buy, OGI, Youkeshu, Daotuo, Yongbei Hui, Meiyin, Yingshi, Sailant Dongyao, Yousheng International Trade, Heimi Technology, Zhongji, Sail, Kaiyue, Shenzhen Cross‑border E‑commerce Association, Guangzhou E‑commerce Association, Chengdu Cross‑border E‑commerce Association, Henan Cross‑border E‑commerce Association, Hebei Cross‑border E‑commerce Association, Shanxi E‑commerce Association, Wuhan Cross‑border E‑commerce Association, Amazon, eBay, Alibaba’s International Procurement Delegation, various industry‑specific seller summit procurement delegations, as well as numerous traditional foreign‑trade enterprises from across the East China region and beyond.

In addition, the Ningbo Cross-border E‑commerce Exhibition (Ningbo Cross-border Expo)also welcomes small and medium‑sized foreign‑trade manufacturers and wholesalers, providing flexible cross‑border supply‑chain solutions tailored to large, medium, and small exporters, as well as related trading companies. The event simultaneously accommodates traditional export‑trade formats, proactively inviting a vast array of conventional foreign‑trade enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta and across China to participate in sourcing activities, thereby establishing a robust platform for supply‑demand matching and addressing their needs for product diversity and bulk procurement.

Ningbo Cross-border E-commerce Exhibition – Ningbo Cross-border Expo tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. The Exhibition Value of the Ningbo Cross-Border E‑Commerce Fair

  • The Ningbo Export Cross-Border E‑Commerce Exhibition is one of the largest and most influential high-end professional cross-border trade shows in East China, and the only domestic expo centered on the “home furnishings” category. It has been hailed by the industry as “East China’s premier cross-border event.” Initiated by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Ningbo Culture, Tourism & Convention Group, the fair has been successfully held four times since its inception in 2021, marking the transformation of cross-border e‑commerce from a “new form of foreign trade” to a “key driver of export growth.”
  • The core value of participation lies in its robust supply-chain integration capabilities and access to premium source‑factory resources. In 2025, the exhibition will bring together 2,500 high-quality export-oriented factories, with factory booths accounting for nearly 80% of the total. These cover five key product categories—home furnishings, pet products and infant goods, electronics and lighting, hardware tools and automotive supplies, as well as daily necessities and gifts—forming a supply-chain matrix that is both comprehensive for large items and highly specialized for smaller ones. In addition to local Ningbo enterprises, leading industrial clusters from Suzhou, Linhai, Jiaxing, Anji, Ninghai, and other regions across China will participate in a consolidated manner, offering buyers a one-stop sourcing hub for direct procurement at the source. The fair also features a dedicated overseas-factory zone, where Malaysian furniture manufacturers will exhibit as a group, providing sellers with cross-border supply-chain resources that combine local design with source‑level production, thus upgrading the model from “one-way export” to “two-way connectivity.”
  • The exhibition has established a diversified global procurement ecosystem, precisely connecting domestic and international core buyer networks. Building on years of experience, the fair has developed a comprehensive procurement pipeline encompassing “cross-border product selection, foreign-trade purchasing, joint overseas procurement, collaborative procurement by overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, platform‑direct sourcing, and online inquiries.” In 2025, the event will attract leading cross-border e‑commerce sellers such as Savvy, OATLY, Anker Innovations, Zhiou, and Zibuyu, alongside renowned foreign‑trade groups including Kaiyue Group, Zhongji Group, and Deli Group. The scale of international buyer delegations has expanded significantly, with procurement missions arriving from Vietnam, South Korea, Malaysia, the Middle East, Africa, and other regions; among them, a Vietnamese delegation of over one hundred members represents the largest international contingent. Additionally, buyers from more than 30 countries and regions—including the United States, Japan, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil—will be present on-site.
  • The exhibition brings together mainstream global cross-border e‑commerce platforms and an end-to-end service ecosystem, providing businesses with one-stop empowerment for going overseas. In 2025, the fair will host 36 major cross-border e‑commerce platforms, covering markets across Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia. Established platforms such as Amazon Global Selling, eBay, Walmart, and Wayfair will offer on‑site consultations and matchmaking services; Dajian Cloud Warehouse, TikTok Shop, and Made-in-China.com will organize summits and forums; while emerging platforms like Chewy, HepsiGlobal, and Wildberries will make their debut, with Vente-unique making its first appearance in China. Concurrently, the fair will stage more than 30 specialized cross-border events, addressing industry trend insights, practical skill enhancement, and precise resource matching. It will also feature TikTok influencer marketing and the Ningbo Smart Manufacturing Product Selection Summit, inviting globally influential social-media personalities with millions of followers to engage directly with Chinese sellers, helping merchants connect with overseas social-media influencers and accelerate brand expansion abroad.
  • For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway for expanding into global markets, forging international connections, and transitioning from OEM/ODM manufacturing to building their own brands. Leveraging the strategic advantages of Ningbo Port, the fair has become a vital window for observing the evolution of China’s cross-border e‑commerce sector. Participating companies can use this platform to tap into high‑quality global procurement resources and seize early opportunities in the burgeoning cross-border e‑commerce landscape.

Exhibition Review

The 4th Ningbo Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Expo 2025 was successfully held from May 28 to 30, 2025, at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the Ningbo Culture, Tourism & Convention Group, this year’s event was themed “New Foreign Trade, Benefits for the World” and has become the annual highlight of the cross‑border e‑commerce sector in Eastern China.

In terms of scale, the expo covered an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters, with all eight halls fully operational. It brought together 2,500 high‑quality foreign‑trade manufacturers from around the globe, 36 cross‑border e‑commerce platforms, and 190 service providers, attracting a record‑breaking total of 91,133 professional visitors. Factory booths accounted for nearly 80% of the exhibit space, spanning five core categories—home furnishings, pet products and baby items, electronics and lighting, hardware tools and automotive supplies, as well as daily necessities and gifts—forming a supply‑chain matrix that is both comprehensive for large‑volume items and highly specialized for smaller, more refined products.

This edition featured numerous highlights, with international outreach continuing to deepen. For the first time, an Overseas Manufacturers Zone was established, with a Malaysian furniture‑manufacturing consortium participating to showcase premium American‑style and panel‑based furniture, providing sellers with access to a cross‑border supply chain featuring “local design plus source‑level production.” The Patent‑New Products Zone maintained its flagship status, hosting a vast array of newly developed, patented products within the past year. Meanwhile, the National Trend Globalization Selection Corridor gathered high‑quality handcrafted custom goods, renowned domestic brands, and trendy Chinese‑style anime‑related products, focusing on high‑ticket, high‑value‑added categories.

The procurement ecosystem was diversified, drawing buyers from both home and abroad. The expo attracted leading cross‑border e‑commerce sellers such as Savvy Technology, Oukai, and Anker Innovations, as well as prominent foreign‑trade groups including Kaiyue Group, Zhongji Group, and Deli Group. The scale of international buyer delegations expanded significantly, with a Vietnamese delegation of 100 participants becoming the largest international group at this event. Ngoc Anh, CEO of Vietnam’s BAOBAO Express, noted that, building on the successes of the previous edition, her company had organized even more Vietnamese traders with purchasing needs to attend and select products. In addition, overseas buyers from over 30 countries—including the United States, Japan, Russia, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Mexico, and Brazil—participated onsite.

A one‑stop cross‑border ecosystem was showcased, with rare resources presented in concentrated form. The expo brought together 36 major cross‑border e‑commerce platforms, covering markets across Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Russia. Established giants such as Amazon Global Selling and eBay offered one‑on‑one consultations, while Dajian Cloud Warehouse, TikTok Shop, Wayfair, and Walmart hosted seller summits and matchmaking events. Emerging platforms like Chewy, HepsiGlobal, and Wildberries also made their debut, with Vente‑Unique—a vertical platform specializing in home goods and outdoor sports—making its Chinese premiere.

The development of a content‑driven e‑commerce ecosystem emerged as a key highlight. The expo hosted a TikTok Influencer Marketing Summit and a Ningbo Smart Manufacturing Product Selection Summit, inviting numerous global influencers with millions of followers to engage directly with Chinese sellers and manufacturers. Concurrently, more than 30 cross‑border boutique events were held, covering industry trend insights, practical skill upgrades, and precise resource matching, thereby helping enterprises build sustainable growth engines.

The 5th Ningbo Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Expo will take place from May 27 to 29, 2026, at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center. With an anticipated exhibition area of 60,000 square meters, 2,000 exhibiting companies, and over 86,000 professional visitors, the event is expected to continue serving as an efficient platform for exchange and collaboration within the global cross‑border e‑commerce industry.
