Profile
The Nantong International Home Textiles, Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Nantong Textile Expo) is co-hosted by the CPC Nantong Municipal Committee and the Nantong Municipal People’s Government. The Nantong Textile Expo will closely align with market demands, adopt a global outlook, and focus on showcasing home textiles, apparel, fabrics, and accessories. It will promote cutting-edge technologies, new products, innovative processes, and forward‑looking concepts within the textile industry, while establishing a one‑stop commercial platform for supply and demand.
The Nantong Textile Expo will accelerate the digital, networked, and intelligent transformation of the entire textile value chain. While positioning Nantong as a premier demonstration base for high‑end smart home textile manufacturing, it aims to become a nationally recognized hub for distinctive home textile brands and a leading city in the high‑end textile sector. By 2025, the expo seeks to drive the total output value of the high‑end textile industry to RMB 300 billion, thereby supporting Nantong’s strategic goals of advancing smart manufacturing and achieving high‑end upgrades in its textile sector.
Rooted in China’s birthplace of modern textile industry, Nantong is renowned as a “textile hometown,” a celebrated home textile capital, and a major export base for textiles and apparel. In recent years, under the Nantong Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government’s comprehensive effort to build a “3+3+N” modern industrial system, the high‑end textile industry has been designated as the top priority for the revitalization of traditional industries.
Nantong’s textile industry is steadily advancing toward higher‑value outcomes: upgrading manufacturing processes through digital, networked, and intelligent equipment and technologies; elevating service delivery via integrated solutions such as the Internet, the Internet of Things, cloud computing, and big data; and enhancing product value through technological innovation, business model breakthroughs, methodological advancements, original design, and robust brand management.

The Nantong International Home Textiles, Apparel Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition 2025 was successfully held from April 10 to 12 at the Nantong International Convention and Exhibition Center. Hosted by the Nantong High-End Textile Industry Alliance, this year’s event was themed “Innovation Without Borders—Weaving the World” and represented the most significant annual trade fair for Nantong’s textile sector.
Exhibition space and exhibitor numbers remained at a high level, with notable success in the dual online–offline format. The show adopted a hybrid model of an in-person exhibition complemented by an online virtual platform, enabling year-round digital promotion and exposure. The physical exhibition spanned 20,000 square meters, featuring over 1,000 booths and attracting 413 participating companies, including industry leaders such as Zhongji, Brother, WISH, Huibao, Jack Technology, Boyin Digital, Beiyа Intelligent, Nantong Henggeer, and Kunshan Jumei. The event drew 21,062 professional visitors from Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shandong, Hubei, Anhui, Guangdong, and other regions, as well as high‑quality international buyers from 40 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, along with 17 specially invited buyer delegations.
The exhibition yielded substantial results, with record-breaking contract signings and transaction volumes. At the opening ceremony, 12 industrial projects were signed, totaling RMB 22.6 billion, while six procurement cooperation agreements were concluded, with combined purchase commitments exceeding RMB 800 million. Over the three-day event, more than 30,000 visitors attended, and preliminary transaction commitments reached RMB 1.675 billion. Additionally, five livestreaming hosts generated RMB 2.2119 million in sales through Kuaishou during the exhibition.
A diverse array of exhibits showcased the entire textile value chain. The exhibition covered eight core segments: home textiles, healthy sleep products, hotel supplies, home textile fabrics, apparel fabrics, accessories, fiber yarns, and advanced textile materials. Exhibitors presented cutting-edge offerings, including bedding fabrics, decorative textiles, curtains and window treatments, cotton, linen, silk, wool, synthetic knits, functional fabrics, as well as flame-retardant, antibacterial, and antistatic textiles, alongside pioneering fiber materials such as carbon fiber and bio-based chemical fibers, fully illustrating the textile industry’s end-to-end ecosystem from raw materials to finished products.
A rich program of concurrent events brought together industry expertise. During the exhibition, several high‑level forums were held, including the “2025 Nantong Apparel and Home Textiles Overseas Development Exchange,” the “Fourth Nantong High-End Textile Technology Paper Competition Award Ceremony,” and the “Sixth China Nantong International Lyocell Industry Development Summit.” Experts such as Qi Yingbin, President of the Nantong Textile Industry Association, and Jin Xin, Head of the Nantong Fair Trade Station, engaged in in-depth discussions on topics like new textile material R&D, smart manufacturing system integration, and green production processes. These initiatives provided strong impetus for advancing the digitalization, internationalization, and intelligent transformation of Nantong’s high-end textile sector.
Nantong’s textile industry boasts robust strength, underscoring the platform’s value. Nantong has established the largest domestic production base and market for household textiles, with the highest market share nationwide. Its high-end home textile segment ranks third globally and first domestically. Statistics indicate that 68.5% of global home textile production facilities are located in China, with 62.5% concentrated in Nantong. The city currently hosts over 5,000 apparel enterprises, while the Sanxing DieShiqiao Market in Haimen and the ChuanGang Zhihao Market in Tongzhou have evolved into some of China’s—and even the world’s—largest specialized production hubs and trading centers for home textiles. The exhibition played a pivotal role in accelerating the full-process digitalization, networking, and intelligent upgrading of the textile industry, helping to establish Nantong as a premier demonstration base for high-end home textile smart manufacturing.
Strong response from exhibitors and the industry. Renowned brands such as Jack Technology, Boyin Digital, Beiyа Intelligent, Nantong Henggeer, and Kunshan Jumei showcased their latest products and technologies. Through professional, high‑quality services, the exhibition effectively facilitated supply–demand matching and industry collaboration, delivering tangible outcomes and earning widespread acclaim from both exhibitors and attendees.
