ProWine ShanghaiProfile
ProWine Shanghai is China's leading wine and spirits trade exhibition. Each edition has received positive feedback from attendees, establishing itself as the most international wine and spirits trade fair in mainland China. Attendance from both domestic visitors and international exhibitors continues to grow, setting new records this year. ProWine China's continuous promotional and marketing campaigns across major cities have steadily enhanced the presence and achievements of the ProWine Shanghai platform.
Against the backdrop of the rapidly evolving global alcohol market landscape, ProWine Shanghai remains committed to providing exhibitors, buyers, and industry partners with an efficient platform that integrates business matchmaking, trend insights, and resource integration, continuously leading the innovative development and value evolution of the alcohol industry.
This edition brings together heavyweight national pavilions from five continents, demonstrating its strong international influence. Participating pavilions include Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, South Africa, Austria, and Japan, alongside industry organizations such as Business France, ViniPortugal, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), and the Catalan Institute for Food and Agricultural Research and Promotion.
Notably, the German national pavilion has reached a record size of 360 square meters, featuring 51 wineries from Germany's 10 major wine regions, presenting hundreds of premium wines, including several boutique white wines making their Chinese market debut. Meanwhile, the New Zealand pavilion's exhibition area has grown by nearly 200%, with over 30 wineries centrally showcasing representative wines from core regions such as Marlborough and Central Otago. Their pure fruit aromas and elegant styles resonate with contemporary consumers' emerging drinking culture of 'light drinking, socializing, and quality'.
Chinese domestic wineries will also make a collective appearance, showcasing the new landscape of homegrown wines. The Ningxia Helan Mountain Eastern Foothills wine region will participate for the first time as a regional joint pavilion. Core regions such as Xinjiang and Yantai, along with the Young Generation Chinese Winemakers (YGCW) pavilion, will share the stage. From established regions to emerging brands, they will collectively narrate the diverse expressions and growth potential of Chinese wine.
ProWine Shanghai has evolved into a vital platform for showcasing wine culture and driving industry development. Looking ahead, the exhibition is expected to continue playing its unique role, injecting greater vitality into China's wine market and further promoting the advancement of wine culture.
