Leveraging Hangzhou’s strategic position as China’s e‑commerce capital for apparel and a hub of the fashion industry, the expo is widely recognized within the industry as a barometer of China’s textile and apparel supply chain development and a central platform for apparel procurement in East China.
- A One‑Stop Procurement Platform Covering the Entire Industry Chain: The expo encompasses the full spectrum of the industry, including fabrics—such as cotton, linen, silk, wool, synthetic fibers, knitted fabrics, and functional textiles—alongside trims like zippers, buttons, interlinings, lace, and ribbons; ODM/OEM garment manufacturing; finished‑garment production; home‑textile products; textile raw materials; dyeing and printing technologies; apparel design; and smart manufacturing facilities. From raw materials to finished goods, and from traditional manufacturing to intelligent production, exhibitors can seamlessly connect—from product showcases and brand exposure to commercial negotiations—within a single venue.
- Precise Alignment with Core Buyers and Channel Partners in East China: As a major textile and apparel manufacturing province, Zhejiang—and particularly Hangzhou, the epicenter of China’s apparel e‑commerce and livestream commerce—boasts a dense network of apparel brands, e‑commerce sellers, livestream agencies, and cross‑border e‑commerce merchants. The expo’s professional audience spans key channels, including apparel brand buyers, e‑commerce platform buyers, livestream‑based product selectors, cross‑border e‑commerce sellers, international trading companies, designers, and fabric and trim distributors. Exhibitors gain direct access to tens of thousands of qualified professional buyers in East China, enabling efficient order conversion and channel expansion.

Review
The 2025 Hangzhou International Textile and Apparel Supply Chain Expo (SCM) was successfully held at the Hangzhou International Expo Center. Co-hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Textile Industry Association and the Hangzhou Garment Industry Association, the event was themed “Linking the Future—Smart and Stylish Hangzhou,” making it the most significant annual trade gathering for the textile and apparel supply chain in Eastern China. Concurrent with the expo, a series of supporting activities were organized, including the China Textile and Apparel Supply Chain Summit Forum, an e‑commerce livestream product‑selection conference, and a fabric‑trend launch event.
With an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, the show brought together over 600 exhibiting companies, spanning multiple halls within the Hangzhou International Expo Center. The exhibitor lineup featured leading fabric manufacturers such as Lutai Textile, Tianhong Textile, and Huafu Fashion, as well as prominent apparel ODM firms like Shenzhou International and Jingyuan International. Local Hangzhou brands—including Evely, JNBY, and Peacebird—also participated. Overseas buyers from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan, South Korea, Italy, France, India, Vietnam, and Bangladesh, attended to source products. Over the three-day event, the expo welcomed more than 40,000 professional visitors, among whom core buyers—such as apparel brand purchasers, e‑commerce buyers, and livestream product‑selection teams—accounted for over 70%.
The fabric exhibition area emerged as the highlight of this year’s event. Lutai Textile showcased its “High‑Count, High‑Density Pure Cotton” series and “Non‑Iron Shirt Fabrics,” crafted from long-staple cotton using advanced weaving techniques, delivering a refined hand feel and exceptional wrinkle resistance. Tianhong Textile presented its “Differentiated Blended Fabrics” line, combining cotton with lyocell, modal, silk, and other fibers to achieve both comfort and functionality. Huafu Fashion exhibited its “Color‑Spun Yarn” collection and eco‑friendly recycled‑material products. Wanshili Silk unveiled its “Digital‑Printed Silk” and “Cross‑Boundary Silk” offerings, seamlessly blending traditional silk with contemporary design. Several fabric suppliers emphasized that functionality, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal are key priorities for buyers.
The apparel ODM zone also drew considerable attention. Shenzhou International displayed its knitwear collections manufactured for international sports brands, highlighting its strengths in fabric R&D and production efficiency. Jingyuan International demonstrated its capabilities in denim and casual apparel ODM, while Virginie focused on showcasing its expertise in the R&D and manufacturing of lingerie and activewear. Many ODM providers noted that brand clients increasingly demand rapid supply-chain responsiveness, with flexible production and quick‑turn small‑batch capabilities emerging as critical competitive advantages.
The e‑commerce livestream product‑selection conference became the standout feature of this year’s expo. Held on the second day of the event, the conference brought together top livestream hosts and MCN agency product‑selection leaders from Taobao Live, Douyin E‑commerce, and Kuaishou E‑commerce, who engaged in one‑on‑one sourcing discussions with exhibiting companies. Leading agencies such as Yaowang Technology, Wuyou Media, Jiaogefriend, Qianxun, and Meiwan dispatched dedicated product‑selection teams. Demand covered women’s wear, men’s wear, children’s wear, lingerie, loungewear, and other categories. Preliminary estimates indicate that the conference resulted in intended procurement commitments exceeding RMB 300 million. A senior product‑selection executive from Douyin remarked, “Hangzhou is the capital of apparel e‑commerce, and SCM is our most important annual sourcing platform.”
The China Textile and Apparel Supply Chain Summit Forum gathered industry thought leaders. With the theme “New Cycle, New Supply Chain,” the forum featured speeches by distinguished guests, including the Vice President of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the President of the Zhejiang Provincial Textile Industry Association, an Executive Director of Shenzhou International, the Supply Chain Director of Evely, and the Head of Taobao’s Apparel Operations. Discussions centered on topics such as “Digital Transformation of the Textile and Apparel Supply Chain,” “Building and Implementing Rapid‑Response Supply Chains,” and “Supply‑Chain Needs in Cross‑Border E‑Commerce.” Experts agreed that China’s textile and apparel supply chain is transitioning from a “low‑cost, mass‑production” model toward greater efficiency and flexibility, with digitalization and intelligence serving as the primary drivers.
The fabric‑trend launch event set the tone for industry direction. Co‑organized with authoritative institutions such as the China Textile Information Center, the event unveiled the Spring/Summer 2026 fabric trend outlook, encompassing four major themes: “Nature and Symbiosis,” “Digital Illusion,” “Retro Revival,” and “Functional Aesthetics.” The presentation attracted hundreds of apparel brand designers and purchasing representatives, providing valuable insights for product development.
As apparel e‑commerce and livestream commerce continue to grow rapidly, the textile and apparel supply chain is accelerating its transformation toward flexibility, digitalization, and green practices. As the most influential specialized textile and apparel supply-chain expo in Eastern China, SCM has become a strategic platform for companies to showcase their offerings, connect with customers, gain market insights, and expand their reach.
