Profile
The Shanghai International Design Week (SIDW), themed "Renewal – Driving New Quality Productive Forces," focuses on design-driven innovation to empower the entire industry chain. Through a model integrating "Design + Smart Ecology Expo, Design + Material Sourcing Expo, Design Awards + Professional Forums, and Enterprise Global Expansion Hub," it addresses challenges in designer and distributor channels for enterprises and provides services for Chinese brands going global.
As Shanghai's only "Design + Materials" expo targeting the designer channel, SIDW was established in response to the demands of founders from over 100,000 design companies nationwide. Materials determine the feasibility of design, drive green design, and fuel design revolutions.
We cordially invite manufacturers of sintered stone, ceramic tiles, marble, artistic coatings, flooring, doors & windows, carpets, outdoor materials, auxiliary materials, movable furniture, office furniture, high-end custom furniture, kitchenware, sanitary ware, textiles, decorative items, and lighting to exhibit at the SIDW "Design + Materials" Expo in Shanghai.
Leveraging Shanghai's strategic geographic and economic position, the expo radiates across the Yangtze River Delta and even the Asia-Pacific market (including Belt and Road Southeast Asian nations), empowering enterprises to expand regionally and globally. The Design Week hosts a matchmaking conference for tens of thousands of distributors, inviting agents and distributors from tier-2, tier-3, and tier-4 cities nationwide to optimize corporate sales networks. Some enterprises have directly secured orders or established strategic partnerships through the event.
SIDW gathers top-tier domestic and international design resources, leading brands, and industry pioneers. It is dedicated to building a premier platform for exhibition, exchange, and matchmaking within the Sino-foreign design industry, providing a growth platform for designers and advancing Chinese design excellence.
Shanghai International Design Week tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
