Shanghai International Design Week

Shanghai International Design Week (SIDW) is themed “Renewal — Driving New-Quality Productivity,” focusing on design-driven new-quality productivity and empowering the entire industry chain. Through a model featuring the “Design + Smart Ecology Expo, Design + Material Selection Expo, Design Awards + Professional Forums, and Enterprise Overseas Expansion Hub,” it addresses challenges related to designer channels and distributor networks for enterprises, as well as services supporting Chinese brands expanding internationally.

As Shanghai’s only “Design + Materials” expo that directly engages designer channels, Shanghai International Design Week (SIDW) organizes this specialized event in response to the needs of founders from over 100,000 design firms nationwide. Materials determine the feasibility of designs; they drive green design; and they catalyze a design revolution.

We cordially invite manufacturers of architectural slabs, tiles, marble, artistic coatings, flooring, doors and windows, carpets, outdoor materials, auxiliary materials, movable furniture, office furniture, custom-made furniture, kitchenware, bathroom fixtures, textiles, decorative items, and lighting products to attend Shanghai International Design Week’s “Design + Materials” Expo.

Shanghai’s strategic geographic location and economic standing enable it to serve as a hub radiating throughout the Yangtze River Delta and even the Asia-Pacific market (including Belt and Road countries in Southeast Asia), helping companies expand their regional and global operations. The Design Week hosts large-scale distributor matchmaking events, inviting second-, third-, and fourth-tier distributors and agents from across China to participate, thereby strengthening corporate sales networks. Some enterprises have secured direct orders or established strategic partnerships through these events.

Shanghai International Design Week tickets are e-tickets. Mainland China visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name ID verification; overseas visitors must use passport verification; Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan visitors must use their travel permit. On site, verify entry with your ID card or by scanning the e-ticket QR code.
