Guangzhou International Tourism Industry Exhibition (CITIE) - Guangdong Tourism ExpoCITIE

Founded in 2005, the Guangzhou International Tourism Industry Exhibition (CITIE, hereinafter referred to as the Guangdong Tourism Expo) was formerly known as the Guangdong International Tourism Exhibition and serves as one of the key supporting events of the Guangdong International Tourism Culture Festival. Rooted in China's most important tourist source market, it gathers high-quality global tourism destinations, service providers, and suppliers. Focusing on the integration of B2B exhibitions and B2C sales, it provides a comprehensive platform for information exchange, promotional display, and product procurement for the domestic and international tourism industry.

In 2011, with the approval of the National Tourism Administration, CITIE was officially renamed the China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo, upgrading to a national-level tourism exhibition. In the same year, the Executive Meeting of the Guangdong Provincial Government decided to hold the event annually to build it into an internationally renowned tourism exhibition brand. After years of brand development, the Guangdong Tourism Expo has become the most internationalized and market-driven comprehensive international tourism exhibition in China. The Guangzhou International Tourism Industry Exhibition (CITIE) is hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province, organized by the Provincial Tourism Development Promotion Center, and executed by Guangzhou Zhilv International Travel Service.
