Dalian Import & Export Commodities Fair (DIECF)DIECF

Established in 1987, the Dalian Import & Export Commodities Fair (DIECF) is China's first regional import and export commodities fair, approved by the former Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade. It has grown into an annual, internationally influential comprehensive international trade event for Northeast China and the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea economic region.

The Dalian Import & Export Commodities Fair (DIECF) operates under the principle of "building friendships, promoting trade, driving investment, and achieving win-win cooperation." Integrating trade, investment, and retail exhibitions, it collaborates with a wide range of countries and regions, showcases renowned regional products, and presents vibrant folk cultures. It is dedicated to creating an internationally influential "City Shopping Festival," further expanding and deepening cooperation in trade, economy, culture, and tourism between Dalian and countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as among enterprises. The fair has attracted attention from relevant institutions in cities such as Shanghai, Qingdao, Changchun, Shenyang, Haikou, Anshan, Benxi, and Hohhot, who have visited to negotiate and seek cooperation.

Born by the sea and thriving through its port, Dalian is an open, inclusive, and innovative industrial, port, and tourism city. It boasts the most comprehensive functional zones for China's opening-up in the Northeast and serves as an international shipping center in Northeast Asia. It has developed into the largest, most open, and most dynamic international city in economic scale in Northeast China. The Dalian Import & Export Commodities Fair (DIECF) serves as a new platform for Shanghai-Dalian cooperation, closely aligning with the global high-quality exhibitor resources of the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai to amplify CIIE's spillover effects in Dalian. It has carefully selected 58 types of imported goods from 15 countries under the CIIE one-stop trading service platform, making their debut in Dalian. Additionally, an exhibition zone for export-to-domestic-sales products has been set up to help Dalian's renowned and specialty product enterprises tap into the domestic market, expand sales channels, secure orders, and overcome difficulties.
