The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is an international trade and economic event co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the ASEAN 10 governments' trade and economic authorities, as well as the ASEAN Secretariat, and organized by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It has become a national-level exhibition that is directly hosted by the state, with special international influence, held annually, playing a significant role in promoting friendly cooperation between China and ASEAN, serving the Belt and Road Initiative, and driving international production capacity cooperation. The China-ASEAN Expo is a unique international exposition highly evaluated by political and business circles in China and ASEAN countries. It is the only exhibition among more than 6,000 exhibitions in China where major Chinese leaders, at the level of Central Political Bureau Standing Committee members, attend. Alongside the Boao Forum for Asia and the Summer Davos Forum, it is classified as a Category I exhibition by the state.

The CAEXPO features investment cooperation sessions hosting over 80 ASEAN investment promotion activities, covering areas such as international production capacity cooperation, international engineering contracting, labor cooperation, resource development, information technology, energy development, infrastructure construction, industrial park recruitment, and railway,有色metallurgy, power, agriculture, etc.; it serves as an ideal platform for China, ASEAN, and countries along the Belt and Road to release investment environment and policies, conduct production capacity cooperation, and match investment projects. Additionally, the CAEXPO will host high-level multi-field cooperation forums covering customs, inspection and quarantine, finance, logistics, information, and more than 40 other fields. Through participation and dialogue, cooperation mechanisms can be established, facilitating project implementation and sharing the opportunities presented by the Belt and Road.

With the theme of "Innovation and Upgrade", the China-ASEAN Expo focuses on the deep integration of informatization, intelligence, and manufacturing industries, aiming to promote industrial quality improvement and upgrading through technological innovation. It further strengthens China's international production capacity and equipment manufacturing cooperation with ASEAN, placing greater emphasis on the scientific content and added value of export products.

The China-ASEAN Expo actively develops service trade, effectively guiding and supporting enterprises to "go global" to engage in production capacity and investment cooperation, further creating a more integrated, more powerful, and more widely beneficial industrial chain and value chain.
