The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is an international economic and trade event co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, the economic and trade authorities of the 10 ASEAN member states, and the ASEAN Secretariat, and organized by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As a national-level key exhibition directly sponsored by the Chinese government, it holds significant international influence and is held annually. It plays a vital role in promoting China-ASEAN friendly cooperation, serving the Belt and Road Initiative, and advancing international capacity cooperation. The China-ASEAN Expo is a distinctive international exhibition highly acclaimed by political and business leaders from China and ASEAN countries. Among China's 6,000+ exhibitions, it is the only one attended by top Chinese leaders, specifically members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. It is classified as a National Class-A Exhibition alongside the Boao Forum for Asia and the Summer Davos Forum.

The Investment Cooperation section of CAEXPO hosts over 80 ASEAN investment promotion activities, covering international capacity cooperation, international engineering contracting, labor cooperation, resource development, information technology, energy development, infrastructure construction, industrial park investment promotion, as well as sectors like railways, non-ferrous metals, power, and agriculture. It serves as an ideal platform for China, ASEAN, and Belt and Road partner countries to release investment environments and policies, conduct capacity cooperation, and match investment projects. Additionally, CAEXPO will host high-level, multi-sector cooperation forums covering over 40 fields including customs, inspection and quarantine, finance, logistics, and information technology. Through dialogue and communication, participants can establish cooperation mechanisms, facilitate project implementation, and jointly share business opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative.

Guided by the theme of "Innovation and Upgrading," CAEXPO focuses on the deep integration of informatization, intelligentization, and manufacturing. Aiming to drive industrial quality upgrading through technological innovation, it further strengthens international capacity and equipment manufacturing cooperation between China and ASEAN, placing greater emphasis on the technological content and added value of export products.

CAEXPO vigorously develops trade in services, effectively guiding and supporting enterprises to "go global" for capacity and investment cooperation. It aims to further build industrial and value chains with deeper integration, stronger driving forces, and broader benefits.
