The Tianjin International Machine Tool Exhibition (IMEX) is co-organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Machinery Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The global industrial landscape is divided between East and West: while Germany leads the West as an industrial powerhouse, China drives the East as a manufacturing giant. In terms of industrial output value, China has surpassed all other nations to become the world's leading industrial power.

The Tianjin International Machine Tool Exhibition (IMEX) is a UFI-certified international brand exhibition. It has received strong support from national government departments, over 30 industry associations, and more than 40 international embassy chambers of commerce. The exhibition gathers global innovative achievements in the digitalization, intelligence, and informatization of the machine tool sector, presenting comprehensive equipment and technological products in the CNC machine tool field from an international perspective.

As a national advanced manufacturing R&D base, Tianjin is one of China's earliest industrial hubs, a core city in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration, and a key engine driving China's industrial development.
