China (Suzhou) Sports Culture Expo Profile
The China Sports Culture Expo (CSCE) is held concurrently with the China Sports Tourism Expo. Shandong Province serves as the Guest of Honor for both expos in 2025. This edition of the exhibitions will center on the theme “Sports Empowering a Better Life,” highlighting four key highlights: In terms of exhibition layout, it delves deeper into niche segments and introduces innovative zones for sports technology and services; in platform development, it refines the event‑IP conversion platform to facilitate on‑site announcements and seamless project implementation; in consumer promotion, it features dedicated areas for premium international products and sports‑brand consumption, unlocking latent demand; and in service systems, it upgrades exhibition‑related offerings and expands the supporting activity matrix to precisely meet the diverse needs of exhibitors and attendees.
As a premier coastal sports‑tourism hub in eastern China, Shandong leverages distinctive resources such as the “Taishan Spirit” and “coastal sports” to drive regional sports‑industry upgrading. Grounded in the “Qilu Model,” it fosters collaborative innovation among provincial sports assets and continuously deepens cultural exchanges and project partnerships with neighboring provinces and municipalities. This year, as the Guest of Honor, Shandong will adopt the core philosophy of “blending tradition with modernity, fostering symbiosis between sports and cultural tourism,” creating a themed pavilion titled “Good Fortune Shandong · Vibrant Qilu.” By seamlessly integrating Shandong’s cultural essence—“one mountain, one river, one sage”—with digital technologies, sport‑tourism convergence scenarios, and nationwide fitness initiatives, the pavilion will embody the spirit of Shandong’s sports culture: “vitality, openness, innovation, and win‑win cooperation,” thereby strengthening the “Good Fortune Shandong” brand image.
The China Sports Culture Expo (CSCE) is anchored in the goals of accelerating the building of a strong sports nation, meeting the health needs of the people, and promoting high‑quality development of sports in the new era. Guided by national strategies and oriented toward the international market, it seeks to stimulate sports consumption through the integration of sports and cultural tourism, fully harnessing the comprehensive value and multifaceted functions of sports in China’s path toward modernization and high‑quality development. With the overarching aim of leveraging high‑quality sports development to advance national progress, societal advancement, and public well‑being, the expo establishes an international, professional, market‑oriented, and high‑end platform for showcasing and trading sports culture and sports tourism.
