Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center

Standing proudly on the shores of Bajiaowan under the morning sun, the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center embodies the dreams of the entire city. As the most functionally advanced exhibition center in western Yantai, it will become a landmark integrating exhibitions, conferences, entertainment, leisure, and tourism. It is the largest steel-structure building under construction, with a total steel consumption of 65,000 tons and a maximum span of 66.7 meters. The project has once again set a new record for construction speed: covering 209.27 mu (approx. 13.95 hectares) with a gross floor area of 200,000 square meters, it took only 180 days from groundbreaking to topping out.

The client, general contractor, and supervision unit of the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center have joined forces to strive for the Luban Prize, China's highest honor for construction engineering quality.

From a city-wide perspective, the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center fills multiple gaps in western Yantai, which previously lacked a convention & exhibition center and cultural center. The exhibition area is divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The indoor section comprises 8 exhibition halls with a total of 3,299 booths, configured in a standard "5+3" hall layout with dual ground floors. By cleverly utilizing the natural topographical gradient, all 8 halls achieve direct ground-level access, each equipped with independent logistics and pedestrian corridors. The outdoor exhibition area covers approximately 33,000 square meters, providing versatile space for various exhibition events. The 4-story conference area features 30 meeting rooms of varying sizes, accommodating over 3,600 attendees in total. It is capable of hosting large-scale indoor events such as conferences, banquets, forums, lectures, and corporate annual meetings. The supporting commercial section primarily consists of an indoor commercial street, offering comprehensive services for exhibitions and conferences.

Upon completion, the Yantai Bajiaowan International Convention & Exhibition Center will become the largest exhibition center in Yantai, serving as a new landmark along the city's golden coastline and a fresh calling card for Yantai's exhibition, cultural, and tourism sectors.
