China Agricultural Exhibition Center
China Agricultural Exhibition Center
As one of the top ten buildings in the capital to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the location, scale, layout and style of the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall were personally approved by Premier Zhou Enlai. After its official completion in 1959, it hosted the first national large-scale exhibition after the founding of the People's Republic of China - the National Agricultural Achievements Exhibition for the Tenth Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, opening a history of exhibitions in the capital for nearly 40 years. Since then, the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall has become famous in Beijing and attracted worldwide attention.
The entire venue covers an area of 52 hectares and has 10 exhibition halls with traditional Chinese architectural styles, with a total construction area of 25,000 square meters; the new hall of the Agricultural Exhibition Center was inaugurated on November 8, 2004, and officially put into use in May 2005. The new hall adopts a large-span independent column foundation truss structure, measuring 152.5 meters long and 86 meters wide, with an exhibition area of 13,000 square meters and a maximum height of 15.6 meters. The completion of the new hall greatly enhances our ability to host large-scale exhibitions, and has also become a highlight of our exhibition rental business. At the same time, there are three squares with a total area of 40,000 square meters. Such large exhibition area and square area is the largest among exhibition venues in the capital, especially suitable for exhibitions containing large machinery, and some large exhibitions cannot do without it. The trees in the park are lush, the flowers are blooming, the lake is rippling, and the classical building complex with corridors, pavilions, green tiles and yellow eaves echoes each other, creating a very beautiful environment. It is the only large exhibition hall with traditional Chinese style garden in Beijing. All merchants who have held exhibitions here agree that the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall is an excellent place for hosting large exhibitions that are hard to come by.
